Wake up in the middle of the jungle, and gaze out the secluded balcony: right in the middle of your panoramic windows stands a giant Ceiba Tree!

Watch monkeys swing from the canopy. Take a dip in your private biopool, and savor an homemade breakfast from suspended benches. Meditate in the giant net downstairs, lulled by the water melodies of the lodge’s river and natural waterfalls. At Ecocoon, tree branches grow through the roof together with plants and flowers to cool down temperatures while offering natural shade to our guests. Panoramic windows and human-size mirrors provide a spectacular reflection of the surrounding wildlife. The indoor/outdoor living room and bathroom have been designed to minimize energy consumption by incorporating natural light and natural ventilation, while inviting our guests to experience the sounds, smells, and sights of Nature. Our furniture and artworks use sustainably harvested and reused branches of fallen trees, as well as driftwood collected from the beach; (re)use of locally-sourced eco-materials reduces the environmental impact of the construction process and also contributes to the local economy by supporting local businesses.
