Guests have access to the entire bungalow, its private outdoor spaces and the semi private pool.
Mar-A-Mar community pool and the small children’s play area with swings are available 24/7.

For exploring further afield, we recommend renting an ATV, Rhino or 4x4, as Santa Teresa and the surrounding beaches are best enjoyed with a little freedom to explore.


The bungalow has two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen-size bed, as well as a spacious bathroom with beautiful finishes, a nice sink and walk-in shower. The toilet is in a separate enclosed area, which gives more privacy and making the bathroom easy to share.

The open-plan kitchen and living area is bright and welcoming, with everything you need to enjoy a nice meal at home . The comfortable living room has plenty of space to relax, with a large L-shaped couch, coffee table and 2 comfortable arm chairs.

Outside, the private terrace and dining area overlook the garden and the semi-private pool shared by only four units. It’s a lovely spot to have your morning coffee, enjoy a smoothie after the beach or simply relax and catch up with friends and family!

When you’re ready to cool off, you have access to two pools: the semi-private pool shared by just four units, as well as the main Mar-A-Mar community pool, with sun beds, bathrooms and an outdoor showers.

The bedrooms are both equipped with air conditioning, and fans are also available throughout the home.

While the house is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, cafés, shops, gyms, Pilates studios and supermarkets, we recommend renting a means of transportation to really make the most of your stay and explore the beautiful beaches and surroundings of Santa Teresa!
Our favorite way to get around is by ATV or Rhino, although a 4x4 is also a great option, especially during the rainy season, when it can be nice to have a little extra protection from the rain :)

- Internet: We have fiber optic with 2 different providers so when one service goes down, we have the other as back up!
- Animals & Insects: Get ready to see wildlife in its natural habitat! Howler and white-faced monkeys often pass through the bamboo near the bungalow, along with iguanas and raccoons! Being in Costa Rica, you might also spot harmless insects like ants, cockroaches or geckos, especially during the rainy season. Don’t worry, this is just part of the tropical environment, not a cleanliness issue!
- Power Outages: Power cuts are common in Santa Teresa and you may experience them during your stay. This is a normal part of the local environment.
- Humidity: Santa Teresa has an average annual relative humidity of 74%, with peaks up to 87% in October and lows around 71% in February. This high humidity can make it difficult for clothes to dry, especially during the rainy season. It’s completely normal for clothing to take longer to dry in these conditions.
