Don't hesitate, just book!

This house is amazing! You pull off the busy dirt road & when you walk into the house you feel like you're in a sanctuary. The view is amazing. We saw the most beautiful sunsets. It’s hard to leave the back porch, plan down time to enjoy being at the house. We had fresh delicious mangos right from the trees every day. The beds are firm and comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked - a drip coffee maker and a single pod coffee maker, blender and anything else you might need. The driveway is as others described. The first time you do it, it’s a bit intimidating, however, once you get use to it it’s not a big deal. Juidit helped us plan our stay.He was very welcoming and always available for questions or concerns.Daisy helped us keep the house tidy and her service was fantastic. You can tell that she and Judit care a lot about the house and the guests experience. It was a nice feeling to have Ernesto monitoring the property at night.Not that we felt unsafe at any point but it did give us piece of mind. Something to consider if you plan to use all 4 bedrooms is the lower level bedroom is slightly smaller with a less extraordinary bathroom compared to the others. You’ll have to walk around your suitcases unless you plan to unpack. It is also separate from the main house house. That being said it’s still an amazing room! Judit arranged surf lessons for a beginner and he worked with Luis. He was super and you can ask for him. This will be a trip we will never forget.

Excellent family villa.

The villa is beautiful and the view is spectacular. You definitely need ATVs to get up and down but these are the perfect way to travel in Santa Teresa. Judit, the house manager, is super efficient and her husband, Cesar, is an exceptional surf teacher. Highly recommend this place for a family getaway!

Amazing mountainside villa

Great modern well equiped property. Everything is very new and works well. The pool is bigger then the pictures make it look and is wonderful. Mountainside living monkey bird and dog sounds in the morning. Afternoon sun is warm and direct but ac units work well. Road up to villa is steep and needs work is the only issue.

A very special place

We had a terrific trip. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. We were a group of seven with changing travel, culinary and activity requests. Judit was incredibly helpful and managed everything with grace and professionalism. The outdoor deck/pool (i.e. ocean views, sun bathing, sunrise/sunset) was the fan favorite. The location is great with easy access to town. The only minor drawback was the somewhat challenging road up to the house - which we mastered after the first two days. We will be back!!!

Amazing property!

This house is amazing - we stayed here as a family of 5 and it did not disappoint. The house is built to a very high spec, wooden paneled bathrooms, cement floors, window to ceiling doors with a Bali like vibe to overall flow of the property. There was a BBQ, amazing pool, yoga mats, outdoor shower and the property came with a cleaner who was in every day, as well as a maintenance / Gardner as support, and Judit our manager was very helpful in providing local details. The property is at the top of a very steep, rugged driveway and in the wet season you would probably only get there by 4x4, which we had. However, the property is ideally situated near to local small supermarket and great restaurants at the bottom of the hill. Being toward the North end of Santa Teresa it is also allowed access to Playa Hermosa, a 10 min drive up the coast. We had 1 night where we lost power but a tree had fallen across the line at the bottom of the driveway, so no fault of anyones and we were surprised how quickly the electricity was reconnected. Overall, an awesome house for a family or a few couples to share.

Wonderful!

My family and I enjoyed a fabulous week at Casa Mango! The home is brand new, impeccably maintained and well designed for a group ( not to mention beautiful; it is like living in a movie set!). It is a short walk to the northern end of Santa Teresa ( which is a bit less hectic) and to the beach.. The views from the pool/ deck / interior of the home are incredible! You can open up the entire living room if you would like to get a real inside- outside vibe. The concierge and housekeeping staff were just wonderful; great people and truly concerned about making your experience the best it can be ! They really went above and beyond for us. Thank you Judit for everything; we loved every minute of our stay! We highly recommend this villa!

Highly recommend

I had such a wonderful stay at Villa el Mango with my partner and friends. The house is new and fully equipped with everything you need. And the beds are so comfortable and all the rooms have a magnificent jungle / ocean view. The location of the house is great; easy to get to and on a quiet road. The view of the house is magical - the best sunset view. Thank you for this stay. We will definitely be back again.

Most fantastic place with fantastic view ! Everything is brand new with a nice quality designs ! Daisy comes in every day and is very discret and kind. Judith was very reactive and easy to communicate with. I can only recommend this place.

Terrible property and host, stay elsewhere

The property is pretty far off the main road, on an incredibly steep stretch of road that our car got stuck going up multiple times. The house is nice, but for the price you can certainly get nicer in Santa Teresa. We also had huge WiFi issues as it went out often and took 3 days to fix each time. There's also no real common area, just one small living room that's right next to 2 bedrooms (which makes hanging out at night challenging). By far the worst part was dealing with the host and manager, Judit. Multiple times she offered to "help us out" and book services that we later found out cost 30-40% more than the price she was charging. She also accused us of breaking the wifi when it went out one day (we didn't), requested that we pay part of the reservation to her in cash outside of VRBO (shady), and refused to help us when the WiFi went out for 3 days (and we then had to work remotely from a co-working spot in town). All in all, I cannot at all recommend this place if you're looking for a premium experience in Santa Teresa.

Family Paradise

My family & I had a fantastic two week stay at this beautiful property in May of 2021. The property is nestled in the hills above a quieter part of Santa Teresa, with fantastic views of the ocean & surrounds from the bedrooms, living area and pool. Furnishings at the property strike a great balance between chic modern and relaxed beach vibes. For those traveling with infants, my daughter, who was 5 months old at the time, had the use of a Stokke High Chair in the lounge as well as Stokke crib in the bedroom. For those surfing, you can just about check the line up at Rocca Mar or Paradiso from the patio and it is a quick 5 minute ATV down to the beach (you could probably walk it in 10). Judit, the manager of the property, was on top of every request and made everything happen seamlessly in the background with no fuss. The staff at the property were equally professional and the house was always kept clean and tidy, with fresh towels and linen as and when needed. If not obvious from this review, I will be returning to this property with my family and friends for many years to come!
