Fiesta Inn Coatzacoalcos

3.5 out of 5.0

clean modern and comfortable rooms. Rooms have an excellent view. hotel is along the waterfront. Staff is very friendly and helpful. very good value for your money. A long ways from the center of town but is in a touristy area. a few restaurants nearby. taxi required for most outings. Taxis are very inexpensive here.

I had never been to this area of Mexico before, and for the very reasonable price, my expectations were not so high for my week-long business conference here. I was completely surprised! This is definitely an "up and coming" hotel, and the staff did everything in their power to make my stay, as well as that of the large group I was coordinating, a very pleasant experience. Check-in is so important in a hotel, as are first impressions when meeting a person! The genuine smiles and sincere friendliness that greeted us on arriving here were like a "glass of cold water" in this nearly-stifling hot coastal city. The staff placed everyone in the rooms of their choice, and for one week we were treated like royalty (not something we deserve or asked for!). The rooms (as well as all of the hotels areas) were exceptionally clean and large. The restaurant staff did a fine job of serving our group of more than 100, and their conference room facilities were very good as well. Even though we had a "fixed price" menu due to the group rate, the hotel´s menu offered a diverse selection of all types of food, and everything we had was excellent. What I particularly liked about this hotel was the distance from the actual city of Coatzacoalcos, which is not the safest. We felt very safe here, safe enough to walk along the promenade along the beach during the day. If my travel plans require me returning to "Coatza", I will definitely look no further than this hotel.

I work internationally on long term projects. Had a bad few days and this is what the staff did to my room. Great hotel even better staff. My thanks to you all. I highly recomend this hotel and this great gesture will stay with me on my travels.

Staff is friendly, room is quite big, one problem is that is you need TV or power on to charge any eletronic, one lamp is always one, it is a big problem in the night. Sea food and meat available for dinner as good, but the locations is not. You need a taxi to get to a mall or restaurant

As per previous reviews, this is an ok hotel with very good staff. Breakfast is particularly good, dinner is average. There is a gym but remember to go in and turn the AC on approx. 1 hr before you intend to use it, it's very hot otherwise! There is a pool but it's tiny.

The people in the hotel is really very nice, very friendly. Everything is ok. Staying for business in Coatzacoalcos Fiesta Inn was great. Unfortunately there is a big black point: the hotel is not able to give working room keys (cards). Every evening after a long working day you go to your room to find that your room card cannot open your door. So you have to back down to the front desk to get your card re-programmed. This happen to everybody, when the buses bringing workers back from the near-by petrochemical complex there is a queue a the front desk to have the cards re-programmed. And this is lasting for more than 10 months! This is very very annoying.

Considering the city and the middle level of the hotels is a good hotel and it's good for a long stay. It's near to more commercial centers and has a good sea view. Very good and rich the breakfast but for lunch and dinner menù is repetitive

The rooms are equipped with pretty cheap furniture and minimal decor as befits the budget stance but they did not skimp on the mattress which for me was great and I slept like a baby. The bathroom is similarly functional rather than luxurious. Access control lifts with key cards does not work so anyone can access any floor, which counts as a security fail in my book. Dining facilities and the lobby bar were undergoing renovation when I visited so it was a little noisy dining in the function room but the food was pretty good and the service was pleasant and helpful enough. Maybe not a place for a long term stay but for a couple of nights it works well enough.

Nice hotel, improvement was being completed when i was there .. a new computer center. All in all a good place will be staying for 3 months next year. Swimming pool small, freindly staff and reasonable food and drink.

It is always necessary to improve the care, services and prices, especially as the collection account. The efficiency and regularity in the room and cleaning needs to improve. The Hotel Fiesta INN in this reform and the access card to the rooms are always presenting faults, being necessary to return to conference to reprogram them. Best regards, Samir.
