No where near Yosemite

The apt was clean, the floors and tub could use a good scrubbing. A sharp knife is needed. We rented thinking we would have easy access to Yosemite NP, but this was not the case. The apt is 72 miles from Yosemite Village on winding roads.

Family Vacay

We had a great time staying at Acorn Cottage. We stayed with our two young children and it was perfect. The space was clean and comfortable and Regina was very helpful and kind throughout the stay. Only recommendation is buying ice and bringing larger cups with you if you’re like me and prefer large morning iced coffees😉 10/10 recommend and would stay here again.

Hidden Gem

Stayed in January right as the last wave of rain/ snow went through the area, in hopes of some winter fun in Yosemite and the surrounding area. Acorn cottage was a perfect find - located close enough to Yosemite to be able to spend the day there and the back in the evening in time to cook a meal and then relax in the hot tub. The pictures are accurate: comfortable bed, stocked kitchen and living room to relax in. Regina was responsive to some questions and a very good host. Look forward to staying here again!

Great getaway

We loved our time in Yosemite and in Acorn Cottage, which was clean and well-appointed. Host Regina was überresponsive to our needs. We appreciated the seclusion and the quiet (but for a dog barking somewhere nearby one night). For us, the only downside was the surprising lack of windows, rendering the cottage closer to a cave! But since we spent most daylight hours out hiking, it didn’t darken our mood too much.

Perfect little space!! And with a hot tub!

My partner and I had an amazing weekend here. We spent the Friday in Yosemite and checked in in the evening, and used the hot tub to unwind at night. We were so tired after our trip that we ended up just spending a lazy Saturday in the cottage aipping champagne and cooking and it was so very lovely. The heater kept us warm in the winter and the couch was very comfy for us to nap on. We hot tubbed again Saturday night and it was so relaxing that we got the best sleeps of our life afterward in the (extremely comfortable) king bed. We pushed off early Sunday morning to spend the day in Yosemite hiking to Nevada Falls. Absolutely lovely place. Hosts were very responsive. So glad we chose this place. No complaints whatsoever!
