Beautiful location with spectacular views. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated and the bathroom was stunning. Breakfast is very good and they offer both buffet and full cooked options. The things that let it down were more to do with the poor staff attitude that we encountered at Sunday lunch and when I tried to check into our room. They didn’t seem interested in helping us and didn’t get our stay off to a great start.

Excellent experience from the moment we arrived at check in to checking out after two fabulous nights. The staff were fabulous, warm and friendly. They looked after us very well and our two dogs too! The accommodation was spacious and luxurious - particularly the beautiful bathroom! The staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Downham is an outstanding location and very picturesque - it’s lovely and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, as was dinner in the restaurant. Absolutely recommend and we hope to return!
