Charming Cottage on Beautiful West Battle Lake, Minnesota

Bubba & Bird's is family owned and operated. It's a cozy, seasonal, 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage on nearly an acre and over 100 feet of shoreline on the crystal clear waters of West Battle Lake, Minnesota. The cottage sleeps 8 people comfortably. With multiple decks, a beautiful grassy lawn for outdoor games, a large fire pit with seating, and a huge private dock and boat lift, families have plenty of room to spread out and relax and enjoy the lake. We even have a fish cleaning shack with running water and lights that your family will want to put to good use.

With over 5,500 acres of pristine waters, West Battle Lake is well known as a top lake in Minnesota. Your family will enjoy fishing for Walleye, Northern, Bass, Sunfish, Crappie and Musky and filleting your keepers in Bubba's fish cleaning shack. The sandy bottom and shallow, clear waters right off the dock are perfect for swimming, wading, and water sports. Sunset cruises on the lake are a perfect end to your day on the Lake.

The cottage is located just 2.5 miles from charming downtown Battle Lake, where visitors can explore shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, bike and kayak rentals and more. There is a local grocery and liquor store as well as a bait shop. A quick 10 minute drive will take you to historic Glendalough State Park with biking and hiking trails as well as picnic and beach areas for swimming and fishing.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with indoor and outdoor dining areas, as well as a Weber gas grill. Enjoy the huge lakeside deck or find a shady reading spot on the front deck.

Guests will enjoy nightly bonfires in the lakeside fire pit. A boat/pontoon lift is available for guest use upon request. A pedal boat and kayak as well as firewood are available for guest use at no extra cost. Outdoor games including bean bags, ladder golf, Spikeball and giant Jenga and connect 4 are also provided for guest enjoyment on the expansive yard. The cottage has a large indoor game table and is stocked with board games, cards, puzzles and books for the full get-away experience. There is also a cozy TV area for rainy day movie watching.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and a coffee maker.

Annual Ottertail Co Birthday weekend

Absolutely adorable, perfect location and view. Our host Robin was super! Communication, going the extra mile and downright amazing. Hopefully we can come back soon and bring the grandkids who would live the game area, yard and swim area!

Cottage on Battle Lake

The cottage is exactly as described. Very clean with all the amenities you need. So many "special" touches and unique uses of space make the cottage truly exceptional! The lake itself is crystal clear, hard sandy bottom and shallow for kids. The dock system is amazing - comfortable, roomy, and so convenient. We enjoyed the pedal boat and kayak as well as the many games available for us to use. The lawn is large with big beautiful trees and tons of privacy and lots of outdoor spaces and seating to enjoy bonfires and the lake view. We loved our week at the cottage and would love to come back!

Family Time at the Lake

The cabin was decorated so cute! The Cabin was super clean, very nice, it had front and a back deck, patio down by the lake and a nice dock that also had seating. Many ways to enjoy the outdoors. Nice firepit - a wonderful stay! Thanks!!
