The shower did not work properly (water would not divert up into the showerhead.) When I mentioned this at check-out, the desk clerk said, "Oh yeah that's the room (104) where the shower doesn't work." I think I should have gotten at least a break on the cost of the room since it's pretty hard to wash one's hair under the tub faucet! No, it's impossible!
At least I could have had the receipt emails to me like they told me was going to happen. Room looked like 1970 with new sheets. But hey.... you keep emailing me other thing so I know you have the correct address. Good job guys!
This hotel is definitely an amazing hotel to stay at if passing through or needing some solo away time. The hotel is VERY clean and the staff is friendly!
Hotel was updated and renovated. My room was clean, with updated flat screen tv and linens looked very new. I had one of my better nights of sleep at a Days Inn. I had no problems at all. Hotel staff was friendly and checking in and out was easy. When I do White Lake Triathlon again I will definately stay here again.
The breakfast bar would be laughable if it wasnt so tragic. Cereal, but no milk. Microwave rubber omelettes. And the 1 yogurt drink I tried to consume had a busted seal upon opening. Absolutely horrible.
Check your room carefully. We reserved 2 rooms. One was passably clean - the carpet was bad and there were cigarette burn marks everywhere - but the other was filthy. We asked to be moved and the second room wasn't much better.
The hotel was not updated but it was clean, comfortable and staff was very friendly. BIG plus that there was a fridge and microwave in the room. There were some arbitrary rules and restrictions that put me off a little. Such as breakfast was included but you were not allowed to bring it back to your room which is a little bizarre, especially if you are trying to get ready and moving and trying to feed the kids. Overall though a nice place to stay for a quick visit.
Easily checked in; had not asked for but got handicapped room. The room was clean and large enough to easily bring my wheelchair in the room and maneuver it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Did not have my number for the Rewards program, but when I found it, they immediately added my reservation in. Did have problems with the internet - slow speed for me. I marked down on the breakfast because as a diabetic I had no choices that were good for me (they had waffles, syrup, toast, cereal).
Check in time could be better. Overall I was very pleased with the room and the service. Nice size rooms and friendly staff.
I book through expedia and didn't realize what hotel I got. Last year I stayed at Days Inn and said never again. There were some improvements from my last year stay. The place is old but cleaner than last year. Front desk staff needs some training in customer service, but a manager resolved my issue to my satisfaction. Keep improving.
