Cozy Casita with Nearby Lake Whiney Access

New construction 320 sq ft tiny house in quiet community with lake access from community boat launch or from Walling Bend Park, just 5 minutes away. House includes fully stocked kitchenette with 2-burner induction cooktop, multi-function microwave, refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker. The 55" smart tv will keep you in touch and the quiet HVAC will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The propane Weber grill is easy to access on the large outside deck. You can enjoy stargazing while roasting marshmallows over the firepit. There is ample parking for your boat. The lake can be accessed by foot at the rear of the property for fishing or swimming.
Please note that during 2025 there will be periodic construction on the cabin remodel on the adjacent property. You will still have unfettered lake access and no construction should take place after 5:00pm or on weekends. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns!
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchenette and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a sofa bed and a coffee maker.

Fishing trip highlight

Beautiful Casita

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights and we were thoroughly impressed with the place. Everything was very modern including the design, kitchenware, and appliances. We made delicious Jalapeño poppers that we prepped in the kitchen and cooked on the grill on the porch and they turned out great! We definitely recommend this for anyone who wants quick access to lake Whitney and a nice clean place to stay!

Great spot

Great spot to stay. Owners super cool. Private boat ramp access. Fair warning its steeper than normal depending on what your use to but is totally usable. House is extremely cozy and perfect for what we needed. 20 minute drive to good food if you dont feel like cooking. Everything needed for a weekend on the lake.

Great little cabin

Great little cabin with a nice back dexk and propane grill. Also has a fire pit and thebhost provided the firewood which was very nice to sit around in the chilly weather. The neighbors dog also came over to say hi amd sit around with us by the fire. Has everything that you need inside.

Great Stay

This little Casita was perfect for a couple days of fishing at Lake Whitney and t(e Brazos river. The place was really clean and well equipped. The only negative is it’s on the west side of the lake so it’s hike to get to a grocery store, but I knew that going in since we owned a property in a near by development several years ago. No complaints here…would stay there again.

Very clean, modernized, well furnished small Cottage

Perfect small cottage that we found "lived" much larger than the stated 320 sq ft. Recently renovated, it thus had all new appliances and creature comforts. Excellent simple floor plan that conveniently met all of our wants & needs. Highly recommend it. The host, Byron and his staff were really nice and made our stay very enjoyable. We will return there when back in the area.
