The ULTIMATE Log Cabin Experience BREATHTAKING Mountain View

This Amazing “Real Log" Cabin called Soaring Hawk is located about 3 miles from Helen GA high up on Yonah Mountain, hence the incredible views. It's close to the Historic Nacoochee Valley and Indian Mound at Sautee Junction, about 3 miles south of Alpine Helen. Please understand that this is NOT a typical rental cabin, it is our vacation home and very special.

“Soaring Hawk” has 3 bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms and sleeps up to 8 people (6 comfortably) and features spectacular custom log furniture. There is a fantastic custom log, king size bed in the loft master suite that has a breathtaking view out across the Blue Ridge as far as the eye can see. This is a very special Log Cabin with beautiful western décor and antiques and one of a kind atmosphere. The bedrooms contain custom Log furniture including a “4 Poster” log bed in one of the guest rooms on the main level also. All bed linens are “Spa Grade”. There are smart ROKU TVs in all the rooms in this cabin.

There is High Speed internet available (350 MBPS+) so the whole family can stream their favorite movies on their devices and on the TV's. There are ROKU tv's in every room with Netflix, Prime Video, YOUTUBE etc, just log in using your own app accounts. We provide complimentary YOUTUBE TV in every room, you can also log in to your own YOUTUBE tv account if you prefer. The living room TV system also has an amazing ROKU surround sound system, for premium audio. You can log in to your own streaming accounts and watch NETFLIX, Prime Video, HULU and most other streaming apps on these TVs.

The living room features unique custom log furniture also with floor to ceiling windows to maximize the spectacular view on either side of the fireplace with a gas log fire. The Kitchen with "Breakfast Bar" has a granite countertop and everything you will need to produce that very special meal for family and friends. There is a fantastic deck which is great for entertaining, with a gas grill close to the Hot Tub, with a great seating area with a Chimenea and some high-top tables to maximize the amazing views from this deck. By popular demand, Soaring Hawk features a BlackStone grill, for a unique outdoor cooking experience.

NOTE: The Gas Fireplaces are available for use from October1st to April 30th. The outdoor Fire-Pits can be used all year round, we do not provide firewood, there is plenty to be found in the woods around the cabin. It is also available in most of the local stores and gas stations.

We welcome dogs as long as their "Flea and Tick" prevention is up to date, there is a $75.00 pet fee required. The decks are fenced and gated so they can run around outside. Absolutely NO cats are allowed. Please ask to review our Pet Policy, if you would like to bring your furry friends.

We also have 2 other cabins next to Soaring Hawk these cabins are next door to each other, but are not overlooking each other, they are very private, they all share the same amazing views. No expense was spared to create this spectacular log cabin experience, perched near the top of Yonah Mountain with spectacular uninterrupted long - range views across the Blue Ridge Mountains, out into the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee in the distance. Yonah Mountain has some of the best hiking trails in the North Georgia Mountains right outside the cabin using our private access to the Yonah Mountain Trail Head, via Yonah Mountain road.

Note: Please enter your dates and the number of people in your group, for accurate pricing, as rates may change during holidays and during Octoberfest in Helen, Christmas and New Year and other holidays. Our rates are based on 2 people sharing, there is a nominal additional guest fee required over 2 people to cover the addition costs associated with a larger group, to cover the extra linens utilities, wear, and tear etc, as it costs a lot more to host 4/6/8 people than it does to host 2, we are sure you understand. Notice Re Covid19:

We would like to reassure our current and future guests that their health and safety together with that of our housekeeping team and our local community is of the utmost priority to us and although we always maintain an extremely high standard of cleanliness at our cabin, we continue to clean and sanitize both inside and outside and always empty, clean and sanitize the hot tub etc after every guest leaves. That being said now, due to the Covid19 issue we have reinforced or cleaning and disinfecting regimen to an even higher standard. Our housekeeper sanitizes all areas of the property as per the current guidelines put in place by the State of Georgia due to Covid19, this includes cleaning sanitizing all surfaces in the cabin, including the bathrooms and kitchen, all door handles, TV remotes, light switches, outdoor grill etc,. Our housekeeper uses a laundry sanitizer in our washing machine.
