Don't use Vacasa and beware before you rent this home
This home is in a lovely setting but difficult to get to. The roads are treacherous, dark and twisty. Several people got lost even with gps. They advertise a pool but it isn't heated so its not useable. There is a sauna but it doesn't work, the primary fireplace doesn't work, I complained but nobody offered to fix anything. There is a dorm size ironing board which isn't suitable if you have an event to go to and there was only 1 blow dryer for 4 bedrooms. There was no wood for the main fireplace. At this price I expect better. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper per bath for 5 days, they did bring some. If a house at this price isn't fully stocked it needs to be noted. The customer service from Vacasa is awful, I got no action when I requested help and a credit. Only platitudes and customer service speak, they kept saying they were reaching out for assistance but in 5 days there was no solution. I wouldn't rent this home or use Vacasa again. Several people also confirmed bad experiences with Vacasa the rental company the homeowner uses.
