Weekend Getaway
Rustic cabin with a great back porch. A little muggy as the AC was in and out but had a very "campy" vibe. Cute decor and the kitchen was well stocked. Very comfy and cozy after a day enjoying Lake Easton.

Overpriced Creepshow
Honestly, I felt okay about the stay, despite the following issues, until I discovered the hidden cubby, behind the wall art in the living room, that housed a monitor, some cables and whole lot of mouse droppings. So... thoroughly... unsettling.
On top of that, the upstairs bedroom boils in warm weather, even if you close the blinds all day and open the tiny little window at night. Half of the window screens have holes/gaps so you can't open them without letting in mosquitos. The AC was useless, though the heat was very effective.
The firepit out back is overgrown. The noise from I-90 completely drowns out the river.
Also, the internet was very unreliable. The ISP said it wasn't on their end, so it's likely something with the equipment. This was a work stay for me so that was extremely problematic.
On a positive note, it was clean (except the aforementioned horror-movie hidey hole), the kitchen had everything I needed, good water pressure and heat, decent appliances. Lots of seating. Also, nifty hammock hooks on the back porch were a nice perk.
That being said, never ever returning.

Horrible property management
The property managers are horrible and the listing didn't accurately show (didn't show at all) they the advertised fireplace at the cabin didn't come stocked with wood and starting material. The communication as to where the internet password was, why 2 of the 4 lamps (the only lighting in that dark room) wouldn't work (turned out there was a switch we had to find), 3 ft of snow to get to front door and to shovel at end of front porch, no porch light on at arrival and it was in the woods.... thats the short list. Since this experience I've discovered that many many people that i know have had similar experiences with Vacasa. I will never rent anything they manage again.
