Welcome to Le Cortal, a renovated former sheepfold located in the charming village of Clara, in the heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales. Behind its warm stone walls and old beams, this cottage guarantees optimal comfort thanks to its air conditioning. This accommodation enjoys an ideal location for exploring the region. The Mediterranean beaches are less than an hour away. The road ends in Clara. Next, you'll reach the Canigou area. Accessible trails and paths for family walks in the Canigou massif lead to hidden and unspoiled places. A chapel restored by an Orthodox monk offers a magnificent panorama, a small wild waterfall hidden at the bottom of a stream, the ruins of a mining village, Follow the irrigation canal, cool and shady, for a visit to St. Michel de Cuxa. A little exercise until the pastoral village of Llaseres. The effort is rewarded. Orris, a beautiful place. For the more adventurous, there's the Cortalet mountain hut and the Canigou summit. Don't miss the Prades market on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and the Clara market on Sunday mornings.
