NH Ciudad Real4.0 out of 5.0

I've stayed here before in business and on the plus side everything works and the staff helpful. However, this would not be the place to come for a romantic break The strange design of the rooms, with the bathroom almost bigger than the bedroom, is not appealing or attractive. Exactly can be said of the breakfast room, which is windowless and ugly. Breakfast buffet is fine and as you would expect in a 4 star hotel in Spain
A very centrally based hotel, close to all the Bars and Restaurants. Good breakfast selection 7 days a week and a good quality, and choice of food, offered in the Restaurant for an evening meal. What made my stay absolutely excellent were the staff at the hotel, they really looked after me for my 10 week stay there and I would like to thank Marya, Miguel, Alvaro, Trini, Martha, Rocio, Teresa, Krasi, Cesar, Carlos, Jose Miguel and Anna, all of whom made my stay very, very comfortable.
Confotable and nice hotel. I m going to come back soon for bussines, I am sure. I love have breakfast in Nh because the meals are delicious. This hotel has the best situation in C.Real. Parks, restaurants, shops and financial centre
Stayed one night mid September. When booking asked for a disabled room but did not receive one when checking in. This hotel to me looked tired, the room was of average size but the wooden door surround for the on-suite was rotten at floor level. The shower was over the bath and had glass shower screens which had many black marks on them. I had a problem in getting into the bath as there was not much room because of the glass screens, also there were no grab rails on the walls surrounding the bath. The shower was hard to operate. The breakfast was below average to me as the night before we had stayed in another NH hotel in Barcelona which had an immaculate breakfast. I had an evening meal at this hotel which was terrible. I had a chicken dish which was in edible but the hotel did have the decency not to charge for it. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anybody
The rooms are fine, but the tv is small and old format.. The breakfast is not a 4 stars hotel, very few hot food, most of it is cold stuff as ham, cheese, croissants, donuts, bread.. but nothing hot, only a kind of eggs. No variaty. The dinning room is not confortable. The lunch menu is quite simple.. not impressed. The reception staff are no very friendly.. thats not good for a 4 stars hotel. If I go back to Ciudad Real, I will stay somewhere else.
Overheated room, air-con not working - when reported to Reception the lady just suggested opening a window!! No tea/coffee making facilities in room, small bottle of water 3 euros. Breakfast was late - said 8am - hot food didn't arrive until 8.15am. Never again.
Yes, this hotel might not be as "posh" as other NH properties - but it's decent enough for a short stay. The rooms were comfortable (if a little unstylish), with good bathrooms. The service was obliging and we were happy with the buffet breakfast. For the money, it was a good choice.
This NH hotel is right in the town and you can walk in a few minutes to the main square. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are bilingual and particularly helpful. Breakfast is very good. The hotel is looking a little tired compared to some NH hotels, but is fine. There is secure underground parking.
I had hoped that two years later the hotel would have had a refurb but alas this was not the case. It is below average for an NH property. The room was not very clean with a lot of crumbs and hair on the floor that I had to ask to be cleaned. The glasses and bottle opener on the minibar were filthy. The room was rather spartan and small. All in all this is not as good as most NH properties. It is pretty cheap and very central but other than that is not very inspiring!
I was not pleased with with the room I was given. It was very small and not very comfortable. Not what I would expect of NH. The hotel is in the city center, so locatiom was nice. There is a parking garage with direct access to the hotel. But what made my overall view poor, was the service, not up to par with this category of hotel. The worst was being yelled at by a waitress from across the lobby because I was going to get a coffee from a nexpresso they had out, with no signs as to being off limits. Very uncortious. I definitely recommend staying away from this hotedl
