Such a great place, the pictures hardly does the place justice as the layout of outdoor patio, walkways and pool area is ideal - especially for families with kids. Nina was attentive and communicative, and we had good help from locals as well.The trullo is situated in a stunning landscape with olive groves surrounding the place, with convenient shops and and grocery places not far of (5-10 min tops). Nearby places to visit are not far off and accessible via scenic routes (Alberobello, Ostuni etc). All in all a great getaway.

Stay in the countryside

We had a wonderful stay. The property is full of character and comfort. Angelita made us welcome and was exceedingly gracious and helpful with everything. The location was perfect for visiting the whole Val d’Istria.

Trullo Sotto - Cisternino

Fanastic Trullo, lovely host (Angelita who was exceptional) and owner (Nina, who clearly cared). We were very well looked after and felt valued as guests. The Trullo was everything we expected and hoped for. We have no hesitation in recommending.

We enjoyed our stay. The trullo was in a quiet area. The access road needs some attention. The trullo is nice and in a beautiful setting. The kitchen was small, dated and didn’t offer simple provisions, e.g., olive oil. We did have a bottle of prosecco upon arrival which was a nice touch. The lighting is low and made the trullo dark on cloudy days. The location is very central to sightseeing. Lilliana was extremely helpful and responsive.

Idylic!

A stunning and beautifully furnished property in a secluded location. We stayed as two families, nine in total and the house was plenty spacious enough for us all. The outdoor areas were great for relaxing and we made good use of the barbeque area. You definitely need a car as the property is remote but this meant that we didn't have to worry about noise with small children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone visiting the Puglia region.

Tastefully decorated Trullo

We had a great stay with our grown up kids. Nina was very efficient in responding and her guide of places to eat and visit was excellent. The villa is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. The bedrooms were warm as the AC is only in the central area and we did ask for the pool to be cleaned as once a week on a Friday may not be enough! These were small issues and we would certainly recommend the villa.

Beautiful and peaceful location

This villa was exactly as described. We loved the outdoor space both right outside the door ( which is protected from the rain) and the space by the pool. Both had ample places to sit and enjoy an early morning coffee or late afternoon glass of wine. All the bedrooms were of adequate size but since there were only four of us we chose the two bedrooms with doors opening to the outside which happened to be on opposite sides of the villa. We just loved our stay and would definitely return. Angelita was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond when needed.

We had a wonderful holiday. The house is situated in the countryside, so very quiet. The pool is really added value. During our stay in July/August it was around 30 degr.C and especially with kids it is a must have. The garden is full of olive - & fig trees. The location, near Cisternino, is an excellent starting point to explore Puglia which has so much to offer. People are very friendly & considerate. I would love to come back, as we did not see half.

The house is charming, well-cared for, and tastefully decorated. The host and her local contacts were attentive and always quick to respond, even when we encountered a plumbing problem on a Sunday. We were a family of five, and we stayed for one week at the end of May (still a little brisk). It was a perfect location to visit Northern Puglia's 1-2 towns per day, driving about 30 to 45 mins each way. Nearby Lorocotondo and Monopoli were our favorites. The roads are scenic and surrounded by olive trees and wildflowers, but very narrow, and in general, all of Puglia's cell signal is spotty. We cooked breakfast every day, and a few nights we made dinner--the kitchen is very small, but well-equipped, and the outdoor charcoal grill was great. A large supermarket is about 12 minutes away, and there are smaller stores and a pharmacy in Casalini, ab 7 mins away. Indoor areas of the house are cozy, but we spent most of our time together on the shaded patio and by the pool surrounded by greenery. The house is next to a horse farm, so you do hear neighing, tractors, and other country life activities, but the overall feeling is peaceful and perfect for unwinding after exploring towns and beaches.

The property is as beautiful as pictured. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable and the trullo is very clean upon arrival. Home is located down long dirt road near a horse farm. For me personally it was part of it's charm-enjoyed seeing them every time we ventured out. Though a little remote it did still make access to so many beautiful towns withing 15 to 60 minutes. We had stayed in Bari followed by Lecce for 6 nights so the countryside was a welcome respite. Unanimously, we felt this was all part of our journey. We did have some extreme weather there for a couple of days but our contact person checked in twice on our welfare which was reassuring. The pool was clean and grounds well cared for. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay in Casalini

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au trulli acquarossa. Décoré avec goût et très agréable à vivre. La météo nous n'a pas permis de tester la piscine mais l'endroit au milieu de la nature est magique.

Découverte des pouilles

Le trullo est situé dans une magnifique région. L’extérieur de la propriété est très agréable, entouré d’oliviers et de figuiers. Par contre, la cuisine mériterait d’être rénové, surtout l’évier qui est en très mauvais état. D’autre part, il y a une seule unité de climatisation dans la cuisine. Les chambres n’en bénéficient pas ce qui est un problème.

Wir waren begeistert!

Ausgesprochen schönes und bis ins Detail geschmackvoll gestaltetes Ferienhaus auf wunderbar gelegenem Grundstück. Besonders schön sind die wohnlichen Aussenplätze direkt am Haus und am Pool. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Der Empfang und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermietern war sehr herzlich.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Das Trullo befindet in the middle of nowhere :-) und das ist gut so. Absolute Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit findet man hier. Das Anwesen ist gut ausgestattet, eine gut funktionierende Fussbodenheizung sorgt auch an kalten Tagen für angenehme Temperaturen. Der Pool ist gross und sauber, man verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer mit drei Badezimmern. Da es keinen Telefonempfang gibt, ist das WiFi wichtig. Es läuft gut. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und kommen gern wieder.

Our best holiday yet

Dreamy just a perfect trulli home to stay in it has given us the best experience ever, our host Nina was amazing and easy to talk too, this holiday was booked before covid and I just didn’t think it would ever happen, also Angelita met us late because our flight was delayed and she was a angel and helped us with anything at a drop of a hat, even showed us a restaurant to eat at late because we were all so hungry just so friendly and a comfort to know she was there for us regarding anything. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful Villa in the Countryside

My family and I (husband, 2 boys 13 and 10) had a wonderful relaxing stay in this beautiful villa. The villa was immaculately clean, the gardens well kept and we had everything we needed for our weeks stay and really enjoyed our holiday. The pool was clean and there was a net provided which the boys loved fishing out any stray bugs that might have flown in overnight! The internet dropped off a couple of times but we followed the instructions in the welcome pack and were connected back quickly, there is very little phone signal but this did not bother us we were able to make online calls if we needed too. Location is perfect for exploring by car to all the nearby towns and villages, Alberoberro and Martina Franca were my favourite's however there are so many more lovely places to visit too. We loved it here and would definitely come back.

A great stay

We were two families traveling with four kids, the house didn’t at any point feel to small - there was lots of space both indoors and outdoors. The house and the surroundings are beautiful and very calming, also its close to all the cities you may want to visit. Both Nina and the local contact Angelita are very friendly and quick to respond when texting. One night we had a chief over at the house to cook for us, it was a lovely experience. We would definitely come back any time!

Perfect villa in the countryside

We had a brilliant week in the villa and could have stayed much much longer. Perfect places to relax and enjoy the countryside. Weather was warm and sunny so made good use of the villa and the amazing pool area. Also plenty of nice towns nearby to go and explore and lots of good restaurants to choose from. Very good communication with Nina before our arrival and Angelita is absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful and so knowledgeable about the area. We will definitely be back again

Thruly wonderful

An amazing charming trulli in the middle of the hills of central Puglia. The house was everything we expected and much more. A perfect central starting point to discover Puglia, not far from beautiful beaches and close to historic villages and cities. On top of that a delightful swimming pool to cool down on warm days. Angelita, our contact person, was very friendly, helpful with suggestions and always reacted quick on our messages. We hope to come here again with the whole family and highly recommend this trulli.
