Back again

Great stay, accommodating hosts. Love the new large table with drawer at the entry-perfect for all of our miscellaneous items that you want to store near the door. Nice appliances. Granddaughter loves the chalk board!

Beautiful views of the Caribbean and pool!

We had a great week with family and friends. Very nice condo with plenty of beautiful furnishings and comfy couch big enough for all 6 of us to watch TV. Stay here and you wont be disappointed!

Excellent stay!

Yvonne was an excellent host and answered any questions I had quickly. We stayed for Christmas week with our kids (5 and 9) and my in laws, and it was perfect. The layout of the rooms was ideal for us and my kids loved the chalkboard in their room! We loved hanging out in the screened porch at night and the view from this building, especially the upstairs gallery is certainly the best in the neighborhood and very wow! We loved Gentke Winds, it was quiet and low key and for that week we nearly had the pool to ourselves. The Sunny Shack was excellent food and service and we spent a lot of time by the pool. We were scuba diving with Cane Bay Dive Shop and our location to Salt River Marina was ideal, less than a 5 minute drive. Gentle Winds sits sort of out of the way and by itself and is so quiet and lovely but center of the island so we went everywhere. Definitely rent a car. We went to Point Udall, Christensted, and we went to Fredericksted a lot for snorkeling and diving and Crucian Christmas festivities. It was easy to get around and park even during the holidays. All of our food and drinks everywhere were so good. We went to Buck Island with Big Beards and that was amazing. Add it to your list! It was a perfect way to spend Christmas! Hope to come back next year!

Nice Unit

Well equipped, nicely decorated. Great location close to the water. Extra fans were appreciated. Manager was quick to respond regarding questions or concerns. Pictures accurately represent the furnishings, but found the first floor beds are much higher than normal (about 36inches from the floor in seaside room.) Overall, a pleasant stay.

Best Family Vacation!

Absolutely loved the Gentle Winds Property and this Unit was perfect for our family of 6! It was right on the beach, and just a short walk to the pool and beach shack. We cannot wait to come back!

Great condo in quiet community

We had a great visit to this beautiful condo in Gentle Winds! The condo was beautifully decorated and appointed with everything one could expect and more. Comfortable beds and living space. New washer/dryer and kitchen appliances. Plenty of linens and beach towels, even with 4 kids. The condo was very quiet, maybe just because of off season, and we were often the only ones at the pool or beach. Beach shack open 12-4:30p only with drinks until 5pm. Other than them we never saw another person from the community. The beach is beautiful but not the best for swimming or for kids playing. Very rocky and the rocks/reef make it too shallow to even pass to deeper water. So they have a buoy line up to show where to swim. Small area but doable for the older ones. Overall we loved the place and would definitely rec to those wanting a quiet place.

Beautiful Condo

We rented 6 condo's for a family vacation and this was by far the most updated and well appointed out of all of them. The pictures don't do it justice, the unit was beautiful. Perfect location with a very short walk to the beach and pool. The shack has the best drinks and great food, I would highly recommend the Ahi nacho's, they were fantastic. if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay I would recommend booking this unit. We will be back.

It truly was ocean front paradise

I would definitely stay at this condo again. Perfect access to the beach, pool, and the Sunny Shack for drinks and food. It was far enough away from the cities to be quiet, but within 10-15 mins from Christiansted when we wanted to venture out. Condo has been renovated recently and was very nice. Ziggy, the community cat, was waiting at our door to greet us many nights. G-man, Boz, and Nick at the Sunny Shack were great with the food and kept my drink cup filled. Will definitely be back!

Amazing condo

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was the nicest condo we have rented at any of the beach vacations we have had. Everything was clean and very comfortable, with great views. Robin was very responsive to all communication. I highly recommend!

A week in paradise

There were 6 of us all ages and we love our oceanfront paradise. It was exactly what the pictures looked like stocked with a bunch of supplies, and very clean. I would recommend this place to everyone. It has it all, also our favorites Caribbean Adventures snorkeling at Buck Island, and Mermaid Adventures. Can’t wait to Olán my next trip

Grand Time at Gentle Winds

By far one our fav places we have stayed in 30+ visits to the Virgin Islands. Unit was very well done and clean and so close to the beach and pool. Fun Tiki Bar and a combination of renters and owners added to the experience. Will repeat!

A piece of paradise

I have been to Gentle Winds property four times now. I usually like to jump around to see which property felt best. I have stopped looking as I am only going to stay right here…although it may be a little more expensive … it’s all worth it… for a good reason everything is renovated everything is laid out wonderfully and I felt more at home in this property than the other property. Miss Yvonne contacted me a days before with the instructions instructions are playing and simple and easy upon entrance there’s a beautiful a binder book with all of the information you need for the house and your surroundings and what’s around - I thought was really nice and my goodness the pictures don’t do justice. If you’re looking for a piece of paradise away from home where you feel at home, you need to book here but please don’t book on the days that I’m coming back!

Ideal Condo Rental

This condo rental is ideal! The location is absolutely perfect, the condo is clean and set up with renters' needs in mind, and the community property is fantastic. The private beach and enormous pool were awesome and never crowded - many times we were the only ones there using them. The property manager Robin was wonderful to deal with and very quick to answer any questions we had. The only thing that would have been nice to know beforehand is that the water is not ok to drink. Having arrived late at night, it would have been nice to at least have a jug in the fridge to get us started until we could make it to a store the next day to get groceries. Other than that, we had absolutely no complaints and loved staying here! If we ever come back to St. Croix, we would definitely rent here again :)

This was a great place for us. Space for everyone to get their own bed and no bathroom sharing was a plus. The view and location to beach and pool we great. Make sure to stop by the beach shack for lunch! I loved sitting out on the balcony and watching the water and stars. Gentle Winds was a great point to go into Christiansted and Frederiksted. Communication with Robin was easy. The only suggestion I have is to update the Welcome Book with recommended grocery stores. Some are more expensive then others on the island, if it wasn’t for the tv being replaced when we got there (new 65” :) then we wouldn’t have known which stores to avoid. Stop thinking about it and go ahead and book, you won’t be sorry. We’re sure to return to Gentle Winds if we make it back to St. Croix.
