The motel had recently changed management and our booking was lost in the handover. The new owner did make an effort and found us alternative accommodation, but it the alternative was not the equivalent of what we had booked in trrms of amenities and quality of establishment. As compensation, I was given some beer......we don't drink beer!

Located near Riccarton Mall. Easy to drive to & also close to bus stops if you need to use public transport. Plenty of eateries nearby. Apartment was on the small side but tidy & quiet (we were upstairs at the back of the property) & okay for 2 people for a short period of time but would be a challenge if you had a lot of luggage or wanted to hang up clothes. Comfortable bed & good range of plates, cups, cutlery etc. Even had salt & pepper which was useful when preparing meals. Bathroom amenities were basic (hand soap & combined body wash/shampoo only). Overall basic accomodation for the price but a good choice if you are looking for a motel within walkable distance to Riccarton Mall.

This hotel was very centrally located and had specious rooms. The Riccarton Mall was within walking distance and had many stores, restaurants and even a grocery store. The hotel room had a kitchen and it was easy to cook meals.
