The only 5 star hotel I have stayed without air conditioning. Many friendly faces but sleep at night. Forget. Rooms like a furnace. I’ve been moved from room to room and told ‘we are so sorry’ too many times. Unfortunately not much choice in Chongqing city. I will try cheaper hotel next time WITH AIR CONDITIONING.
Hotel is located in the middle of the city whereas the street was full of people passing by, the moment sunsets the street became empty. It is very accessible to restaurants, trains and malls. My stay was upgraded to have a Regency club access. Kudos to the chinese lady in the reception. Love it!
This hotel is centrally located in Jiangbei district along Paradise Walk. It is walking distance to shopping centers, eateries and bars as well. The room is beautifully furnished with a writing desk, small wardrobe space and an armchair. The bathroom is standard with separate shower and WC compartments. I would say that this hotel is ideal for business travelers too as it has a large lobby with ample seating for casual business meetings. There is also a glass room with a table and seating for 10 persons upon request at the Lobby Bar area. The room I asked for was a double room and it had a connecting door to the larger suite next door. My only peeve was the lack of a full length mirror in the room and the lack of movie channels on TV except for HBO. For the business traveler that is not an issue as there are CNN, Fox News, Channel News Asia and BBC.
Excellent hotel for this category. It is near downtown easy to go anywhere. The subway is about three blocks away that takes about 15 min by walking. If you are not familiar with the city I would suggest you take the taxi to go around because it is hilly and mountainous and hard to get around by walks. Most dishes are hot and spicy but the hotel foods were good and of wide varieties.
Had a trip to London with my son because my son is a big fan of Chelsea F/C and he desperately wanted to see the stadium. The location of the hotel is very close to the stadium and we took a stadium tour in the first day. The next day we took bus tour and London eye sightseeing. the third day we went to Werner Brothers studio for Harry Potter. The last day we visited Cambrige University and met old friend of my son. In summary, the service was very satisfied(check in/out at the lounge desk), which was the same floor for my room. Besides the location was really convenient to go everywhere we planned and even from/to the airport. Even during the night outside kept quiet.
Terrible hotel. All smiles when you enter but rooms like sauna. Stay clear or get poorly 😞😞 Hotel plagued by cheap hookers and you are continually harassed as you enter and exit. Not good. I will never stay again.
It is located about 8 min walk from the new city center of chongqing where most locals shopping and dining. So it is not most convenient if you want to walk around old city center which has so many construction that made it dirty and noisy. The breakfast has some really good Chinese food, and the swimming pool is nice too.
Visited their bar on several occasions and had dinner buffet at add once. Always good experiences in terms of food/beverage quality and service. Design of lobby and public areas is chic and modern. Location may seem a bit out of the way at first since its far from jiefangbei but the area around hotel is very lively
I stayed in the 28th highest floor king bed room but the room was musty. I heard noise till 3M because there was construction outside the window. What worse was I slipped in the 5th restaurant because of wet floor. As a Hyatt royal member, it is the worst Hyatt experience ever. I checked out 3 days earlier than my original schedule.
Great service, rooms were immaculate, highlight had to be the amazing buffet breakfast. Food at the bar was pretty reasonable and surisingly good. I wish e had tried the hotpot. It exceeded my expectations in every way.
