Guests on property can experience Choiseul's famous pottery making tradition. Miss Leo will introduce you to the process of creating lovely craft from local clay. Guest can book our pottery making tours and visit our on site gift shop.
The apartment is within walking distance (15 mins max) to the ever popular Anse Ivrogne Beach which is at the base of Gros Piton (UNESCO's World Heritage Site). One of the starting points of the Gros Piton Nature Trail is the Anse Ivrogne Beach.
Our lovely apartment is also a few minutes drive to the town of Soufriere where you can indulge in many adventures such as mineral baths and hot springs, waterfalls, nature trails, horse back riding, zip lining and Soufriere's world famous sulpur springs and drive in volcano.

Vinaya's studio apartment.

The location of the property gives good views to the sea and the local country side. We were treated to regular visits by hummingbirds and bananquits on the tree outside the balcony.Much attention has been given to the appearance of the appartment, which is comfortable but the plumbing and working areas need addressing. We very rarely had hot water in the shower and pressure in the shower head was very variable. The location of the property is away from any main centres and therefore eating out requires travelling a distance. The kitchen has a microwave but there is no cooking equipment. A chopping board, bottle opener and cooking pot would have been useful. Our host was good at communicating but relied on local family to deliver, which was not always effective. We relied on communication with the occupants in the adjoining appartment.It would be useful to have some storage space to put clothes, luggage and other items. Irrespective of these issues we enjoyed our stay.

Choiseul (round #2)

This was our second time to this house. We rented both the apartment and the main house for 5 weeks. Great accommodation set in the country side. Circumstances caused us to slow down and appreciate the quiet pace and beauty of the surroundings. Neighbors and community members are very friendly and happy to make sure you have what you need. The beach below the house became our favorite spot to swim, relax, and observe the local fisherman about their daily lives. There are also restaurants and little stores located throughout this sprawling hilly neighborhood. Would recommend to travelers looking for an authentic local experience set in the natural beauty of St. Lucia.
