You won't want to leave
As we packed up, my wife said “I love it here; I don’t want to leave.” The light changed often. In the mornings, the greens came alive. In the evenings, sunsets over the Caribbean. Constant natural symphony changes by the hour: sometimes crickets, birds, goats and cows. Geckos on the patio.
The layout of the house is a great balance of common and private, airy and open to the breeze, and immaculately clean. The kitchen is well equipped, including toaster oven, blender and laundry supplies. We had to buy all food and staples except salt and pepper. You will have to drive 10-30 minutes to dine out. Beach/Sulphur Springs towels provided. Beds and pillows were firm and comfortable. Driveway was intimidating but manageable with automatic + handbrake and experience on hills.
Jason was very responsive; Zira is more concierge than housekeeper and truly wants you to enjoy your stay, touching base regularly. As Zira oriented us to the features of the house, we asked if she had any recommendations for dinner. She asked what we like, then without asking called around, made reservations and requested a special first cocktail for our 18 year old.
We booked because 14 reviews listed 10/10. (Not visible anymore as Jason just bought from prior owner). Don’t be put off by the house having only one review.
