Beautiful cottage
The cottage is as charming as the ads. Starter fire logs, coffee, milk, but no bath products. Washer and dryer and loads of laundry products. It was a wonderful relaxing stay. The patio would be lovely, a little chilly for our stay. We truly felt at home. The location is great for wandering Chipping Campden with its thatched homes, fantastic silversmiths, and fun pubs. Easy to get to by train and then bus.

A short break away
We had an incredible stay at Pinkney House. Everything was perfect and we felt at home from the moment we stepped through the door. The house itself is awesome and the location makes it the perfect place to stay without the overwhelming busyness of other parts of the Cotswolds. We’re already looking to re-book for 2026. Thank you!

Ideal for a special occasion
As our family is spread across England, the Cotswolds was a good location for a meet up to celebrate two family birthdays. It was hard to find a house with 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom which offered plenty of space if the weather was wet. Pinkney House fitted the bill perfectly. It'd large and full of character. Our party was 6 adults and a dog and we had loads of space. We didn't need to drive anywhere during our stay as lovely walks and many restaurants are on the doorstep. We will definitely visit again. The only change I'd ask for is for the check out time to be a little later than 10am. (would have paid a little extra for this)

Another wonderful stay in Pinkney House
This was our second time staying in Pinckney House. Once again, everything had been perfectly prepared by StayCotswold Limited. The house is lovely, spacious and tastefully decorated and furnished. Our visit this time was in winter rather than summer and the house was lovely and warm, enhanced but a wood burning stove in the sitting room and an Aga in the kitchen. It is not the cheapest but it it's definitely worth the premium.

We will definitely book again

A beautiful house central Chipping Campden great for a group of friends
Pinkney house is in a quiet but central location . It has lots of character and is spotlessly clean, well equipped and styled to look very attractive. It is on several levels which adds to the character but would make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues and potentially an issue with toddlers. Having three bedrooms each with a bathroom was a big draw for us as 3 mature couples but there is only 1 freestanding shower cubicle and the bath in the room over the kitchen isn’t very practical. That being said we had a lovely time there and it’s very sociable yet spacious so you could find a quiet spot easily to chill. I would definitely come again

Excellent Stay
We absolutely loved Pinkney House and could not recommend it enough. We normally do a yearly trip to the Cotswolds and always love to stay in Chipping Campden. This cottage did not disappoint and we will definitely be rebooking to stay here again. We are extremely fussy with high standards and it is unusual for somewhere to be completely without fault - Pinkney House really was without fault. Cleanliness for us is one of the most, if not the most important aspect of staying somewhere and it was exceptionally clean. It was so enjoyable to stay somewhere that was perfect; what a difference it makes. I could not fault the location, the cleanliness, the quality of the furnishings, the quality of the beds, bedding, towels etc. the list could go on. The house is so spacious and great to go away with friends as the layout of the house enables you to be at completely separate ends of the house meaning you have so much privacy. The decor is gorgeous and has been done very thoughtfully and tastefully. The service and instructions provided were easy to follow and informative. It really was fantastic. If you are considering booking, don't hesitate. Worth every penny. Can't wait to return.

Fabulous house in a great town
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this beautiful home. It is full of stylish touches and has everything you need for a truly comfortable stay, we loved returning after days spent exploring nearby villages and gardens. Lots of dining options in Chipping Campden as well as options for picking up something tasty for dinner at home. The owner was very helpful and we found Pinkney House a real gem and would highly recommend.

Property with Character
We have just returned from a weekend stay - 4 Adults, a Teenager and a Dog !
The property was full of character, with amples of space. Ideally located in the village with nearby eateries and a nice enclosed outdoor space. Whilst there may be no allocated parking, we had no trouble parking two cars practically outside the property.
I stayed in the front bedroom and found it as quiet as the rest of the property, with no concerns of traffic noise.
The property was incredibly clean.
A great location and a good spot to travel around the beautiful Cotswolds area, we would definitely recommend!

Countryside bliss
The moment we entered the quality of accommodation was strong. Torn then between going out exploring and staying in. An AGA, well equipped kitchen, fireplace, luxury bath and bed. It could not have been any better. We will go back for sure.

Perfect family long weekend
The house was amazing, beautifully decorated and well equipped, it was the perfect house for 3 grown up couples to spend time together but also have their own space.
Its location in the town is ideal to enjoy the many beautiful walks or savour the delights of its many pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.
We were lucky to have sunshine in March so also made good use of Pinckney’s garden, which I’m sure in the summer is beautiful as all the buds were coming out.
I’m sure we’ll be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time, still so much to explore.
Thanks for letting us stay.

Lovely Cottage
Lovely stay overall.
Great location in terms of access to the high street and local drives. The street, however, was very busy and noisy from the principal bedroom, especially early in the morning (7 am traffic and cars speeding by in the summer in the Cotswolds!?) Rather surprising. Because of the heat, we also had the windows open and therefore blinds up, which meant no privacy with direct views from the pavement and street.
That said, lovely cottage. Very clean and we enjoyed the garden! Thank you.

A wonderful family stay at Pinkney House in the Cotswolds
We really enjoyed Pinkney House, using it as our base to explore the region. There's plenty on offer in the town and lots of local walks. Even electric vehicle charging.
The was large, well kept, with lots of amenities and necessary supplies, eg coffee, cooking oil, firewood, dishwashing tablets. This made our stay hassle free without the need to go out and stock up things (although we did buy some things to replace what we used).
The bedrooms were large and well spaced so you didn't feel on top of one another, especially with adult children. The separate and cosy living room and nearby dining room wrecked great for family get togethers.
I had one issue when we arrived which Kim was very responsive in helping me sort.
I'd highly recommend the house.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds.
We have just spent a lovely two weeks at Pinkney House. We have nothing to say really on how we things it could be improved. We love the location and being on Chipping Campden High street, we had our dogs with us and they were fine there. It's a shame there's not a call garden for them there, but we knew that when we booked and there are so many wonderful walks locally that it wasn't really a problem.
Good sized bedrooms and nice en-suites / bathrooms. Big kitchen and some lovely ares within the house to chill and relax.
There's plenty to do in Chipping Campden and lots of good restaurants and pubs. We are big fans of Huxleys, so we would recommend that for any future guests.
We are already discussing rebooking so I guess that says all you need to know from our point of view.

Nice house big disappointment
Sadly our stay was far from what we have planned. We have booked this house to have a restful weekend away from London. Unfortunately exactly the opposite happened: just right in the front of the house there was a village fair, with fair ground rides and diesel generators running from Friday afternoon through Saturday evening right in the front of the house. There was constant screaming, and unbearably loud music. A burger food track was parking right in the front of the house approximately 1.5 meters away, with its diesel generator emitting gas right into the living room and the bedroom. The house - despite how nicely done and pretty it was - was frankly unbearable.
The village fair was advertised all over in Chipping Campden and the neighbouring villages way in advance. Despite this we have received absolutely no advance warning that this is happening. Would we have known this, we would have booked another house.
After our complains they simply said they are not responsible for any noise generated outside the house boundary, as set out in the terms and conditions. Frankly there is a difference between some noise and a diesel generator and a fair ground rise…
