Adjacent to the owner’s listed farmhouse, this pretty holiday cottage looks out across the farm and the Wiltshire countryside with the Wilts and Berks canal running through. Good walks through wild flower meadows, with panoramic views. The abbey village of Lacock, Avebury stone circle, Castle Combe village, Malmesbury and Bowood House are nearby. A short drive will take you to the city of Bath. Shop 1 mile, pub ¼ mile.

Lovely cottage, well furnished, clean, warm and especially loved the log burner. Located in a quiet, rural area, but plenty of shops a short drive away in Chippenham. Bath is only 20 miles away with a wide range of shops and sightseeing (Roman Baths). A lovely place for families to spend time together as there are 3 spacious bedrooms. An enjoyable stay.

The cottage is extremely clean, warm and comfortable, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. It is nicely situated for Bath, Longleat, Avebury stone circles and several of the Wiltshire chalk horses, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and picturesque villages. Felt that it was good value for money and the cottage had most things you would need in a self catering rental. Anything that was missing could be requested from next door. Stunning location, so peaceful. Nice little walk to the Foxham Inn for a yummy meal and drinks. Could do with a laundry basket and extra washing lines as on one occasion there was nowhere available to peg out my washing. Nice homemade cakes waiting for us on arrival and some milk in the fridge.
