Great stay

We had a great stay! Easy check in process and property company was great at communicating with us ; esp after the wind caused some damage to the outside upstairs storm door (they sent someone over to fix it that day!). The only downside (and this was my fault for not asking ), was we didn't have beach access at the VRBO. The only people that have beach access at Chincoteague are private landowners that live on the marsh side OR if you're staying in a hotel on the CB side (where the bridges are ), and the hotel has access, then you'll have access. We did have a water view, so that was awesome .You have to drive to Chincoteague National Wildlife refuge to access the beaches. House has everything we needed for a great stay. A little outdated, but that's too be expected.

This is our second time staying at the Cozy Nest. The house is well located and has just about everything you need for a weekend at the beach, including two lovely porches. The only reason I'm not giving it 5-stars is that the amenities are a bit dated (which is ok since it's just an old beach house with beach house vibes), we couldn't get the DVD player to work (again, wasn't the end of the world), and we again had to make all of the beds ourselves with the clean sheets provided, which was manageable but makes the kick-off to a vacation weekend feel a bit more like you're still at home! But if you're looking for a true basic beach house that is convenient and dog-friendly, this is the place for you!
