Property had some renovations going on. The shower was old and needed replaced. Everything else including the staff was excellant.
Very dirty. Stains all over bedspread and sheets. They would not give refund.
The Grandkids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was much better than most that are offered by other motels
All of our packed clothes that we did not wear; we had to wash all of our clothes when we returned home.
Experience was less than expected. No elevator, so take a first floor room if you have a lot of luggage. Smells a little of smoke even though most rooms are No Smoking. The hot water was shut off with no warning to fix a plumbing problem in the building. Staff works hard, but in the morning the person manning the front desk also was responsible for restocking the breakfast area.
When I first walked in it smelled like smoke. Nothing like requesting a non-smoking room and walking into a smoked filled vestibule and lobby area. The room smelled like smoke also because it has been used as a smoking room. The ceiling had been repainted but the wallpaper, carpet, and bedding were not replaced. The curtains might have been. The owners asked me how I was able to tell that the ceiling had been painted and I told them because there is paint on the boarder around the room. I should have paid an addition $20 down the road because I have stayed at that hotel before and It was nice. The one thing I can say is that the breakfast offerred was excellant!!
We were there to see Tecumseh and it was great. We had no trouble checking in. The kids enjoyed the pool.The breakfast was delicious, area was clean and comfortable.We would stay there again.
