Casa Andina Select Chiclayo

I’m sorry to say that with it’s success and very rapid growth, Casa Andina increasingly offers nothing special except a clean room and hot water. Perhaps this is the intentional distinction between the brands “traditional” and “private collection” locations. The later seeking to be higher end. Anyway, this particular one is priced like an American or European hotel in a market where it should cost substantially less. Their key card system mal functions just as often as any in expensive hotel in the world, and their personnel show as much concern about it as you might find in any franchise cheap motel. Obviously I was disappointed. I hate to see these newer peru based companies fall down after their initial success and think they can exploit their earlier earned reputational capital forever with sub standard product.

Since I arrived to the counter the people was really nice and payed attention to all my needs. At the restaurant the food was delicious. Also try a Marabuena drink. Is was one of the best drinks I've ever take in my life!

Our team enjoyed a fantastic week staying at this hotel! Awesome staff, food and service! The accommodations are very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and we ate several items from the menu and all were delicious. Our favorite drink was the Pisco Sour Caroline!

Chiclayo is close to some archaeological sites and that is why we were there. No other reason to go. This is the best there is in the town. Nicely renovated and it would hold its own as a very good mid-priced hotel anywhere. Here is is 5 stars! Nice breakfast buffet and very good dinner at their restaurant. This is important as it is not a good place to walk around in the neighborhood. Also a nice pool and very friendly staff.

Buy water before checking-in (water in room is 4 times shop price)! Better to book online through online reservation sites as even the sharply negotiated discount at check-in desk is far above price available online. No shortage of water at breakfast (shamelessly dlluted juice and coffee!! Nice pool (but shallow and unshaded, and not open early morning or evening). Good free sauna.

its good, all is right room , service , its very confortable and recomened, i think in gonna comne back , is a special place and your people very atettion thank so much by all i hope come back very soon

Casa Andina hotel is located 10 mins walk from Chiclayo’s main square. We arrived close to midnight and the receptionist kept trying to get us to pay for an upgrade despite seeing how tired we were. Good 20 mins later and we got into our room. The room was basic but very spacious and air conditioned. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, decent coffee, freshly made juices, hot dishes made to order and selection of breads, fruit and ham and cheeses. We used the pool in the morning and we were the only guests there, it was very quiet. It was easy to get Uber to the Royal Tombs of Sipan (20 mins) and to the airport (15 mins). Overall, it was good value for money and we enjoyed staying at the hotel.

I spent 2 nights here and the Hotel was very clean, comfortable and staff was great. The variety at the breakfast buffet was incredible . I highly recommend this place, whether it is one night or many. Very conveniently located.

From a very friendly welcome, through great help with bus and other bookings to constant attention, the reception staff were excellent. The restaurant staff were also extremely friendly although some things got a little confused, like bringing the main dish at the same time as the starter. Breakfast was average, why in a country with such bountiful and varied fruit is such a dull and often unripe selection offered? The market was full of so much better fruit.

Hotel conveniently located just few blocks from main square and shops... Great for all kind of travelers, including solo, families, couples and business... Hotel located in a safe a quiet neighborhood... There is a nice park for strolling just across the street...
