Located in the heart of one of Chicago's oldest historic districts with gorgeous brown/gray stone houses and mansions. Its is also 0.6-miles from the lake or approximately 10-20 minutes walk depending on your pace. There are trails along the lake for running, biking or just strolling. And of course there is a Marina and beach nearby on 31st and Oakwood.
