The staff was great. Very helpful. Rooms are very clean but dated. Convenient park and fly to midway airport.

Very good location to Chicago, Brookfield Zoo, and surrounding suburbs. Across street Countryside Banquet Hall where we attended a concert. William Tell Restaurant is in hotel. A bit pricey but for special occasions, I would recommend the atmosphere and food worth the splurge! Pool area very large and impressive! Our King room was clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Workout facility has no weights, only treadmills and bikes. Pool area is very nice.

Staff was nice. They helped us with drop and pickup from Airport. But the condition of rooms is not worth the price, it is mostly like any days Inn or motel. A/C heater makes so much noise. No proper curtains on window. They do have microwave within, which is good. Breakfast not included. Definitely not worth the price and not matching standards of Holidays Inn in other cities. Thanks

The hotel should have informed Orbitz they were having their parking lot paved. The inconvenience it caused for us and other guests is not acceptable. The children in kid strollers or anyone using wheel chairs could not navigate the trip from car to front desk. The hot tar smell was awful. further, they had no one to enforce the rules in their swimming recreation area. In a hot tub marked maximum people 7, there were three families with children of all ages in the hot tub, nearly 20 people in the hot tub for long periods of time. Another group of families were playing football in and out of the big swimming pool making any access to the pool nearly impossible. There was open beer drinking from Budweiser cans and mixed alcohol beverages in abundance. The kiddie pool was filled most times by large people just sitting in the warm shallow water, and few kids splashing around. No one from management would come in to monitor compliance to their rules. It was like a large family reunion at which the attendants presumed they had complete ownership of the facility, and the management did nothing to clarify that they did not. Since we travel to Chicago often, we probably not stay there again. Further this is the third time we have had Orbitz advertise hotels at which we stayed where the hotel was not satisfactory because of construction or renovations that the either owners did not share with Orbitz, or Orbitz not share with us the customer! And the room maid service was poor

The hotel needs some upgrades specially in the carpet hallways, But I have to admit wehad a very comfortable bed .

I took a trip to see some family near the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with how updated the hotel was. Rooms were comfy and clean (best pillows) ever. Pack a bathingsuit there is a huge indoor pool and jacuzzi. Had a few drinks at the bar and there is also a restaurant. Price was great and the hotel was near where my family lives I will definitely be going back.

Great place, good location. Clean room and nice pool area

Hotel was ok... Just another hotel nothing special... Hotel staff was good and friendly... Hotel restaurant needs a lot of work... It was overly priced.

Carpet was stained up. Air smelled musty. Hot tub was broken. Showerhead made a horrible high pitch noise. Hotel was advetised for beimg close to Toyota Park and was 15 mins away.

I have stayed in this hotel several times and it has always been good until this trip. I called the hotel 2 times before my arrival to request a specific floor and hallway. I was told that I could not be promised but they saw no problem on why my request could not be honored. The location was important because of my autistic grandaugher and my health. When I arrived I was given 3 reasons why my request could not be honored. All were proven to be wrong but they would not budge. I was given a room in a well used section of the hotel and my 5 day stay was horrible and uncomfortable. Then they did not even bother to clean my room on one of the days. The heater was broke on the pool and it was like swimming in ice water.Their lack of cusomer service and concern was not necessary and the way I was treated was unnacceptable.

The hotel staff was friendly, especially Nicole! The room was good for what we needed. Only there at night. Overall, we had a positive experience at Countryside!

Clean room with nice layout, beds comfortable. Kind of noisy though, could hear all the conversations being had in the hallway. Great pool area for the kids! We had pizza from the restaurant, which was ok.

Great place to stay if calling on EMD Progress CAT

Overall the hotel was good, frustrated that is was not wireless but I knew that before booked the reservation. Annoyed that there was only one elevator working throughout the weekend, especially when the staff was using it and locked it for there own use. The pool area was great, my daughter had a wonderful time. I was a bit insulted when I was addressed by the security guard as soon as we went towards the baby pool. Without giving me a chance to acknowledge him, he immediately went into a long explanation that my 3 year was not allowed in the hot tub when we weren't going in it anyway. I already knew a toddler was not allowed and didn't need to be educated by the security guard. Finally, it was an inconvenience to keep coming back to the front desk to get my 'ticket' for the complimentary breakfast. To get another 'ticket' for the kids eat free in restaurant promotion or even to get 'arm bands' to enter the pool area. I would revisit the hotel but would ask that they do a better job of preparing the guest when they check in, during my stays, I prefer not to go back to the front desk until check out.

We have been coming to this hotel since our kids (now 23 and 26)were little. On this trip our grandkids loved the pools! We appreciated the free breakfast for the adults. We also appreciate the free parking and close location to the Brookfield Zoo. We also went into town one day and enjoyed Shedd Aquarium and the Sears (I refuse to call it Willis) Tower. We plan a return trip this summer.

This was an excellent place to stay while visiting Chicago. We planed to go to a concert at the All- State arena on mannhaim Road, come to find out all we had to do is go through La Grange, and stay on the road to get to our location. We were not far from town or the airport. The people working there were very nice. They had computers and printers to conform your reservations and print out your tickets. The place was very beautiful, Just wished We would have had more time. Loved the place and City. Thank You. Maria..........

I stayed here with my wife and 5 mo old son, our room was very clean. Chek in - out process was very easy. We didn't have to pay for parking (a rare thing in Chicago). The only bad thing that happened was at breakfast, it was at the restaurant next to the hotel, the server was rude the first day (she was nice the next day when she find out we tip well). But the cook got my brother & wife order wrong for the whole time we ate breakfast there. Other than that the Hotel was awsome.

Great Overall Experience.

nice suburban affordable hotel at convenient location, variety of food, fruits and drinks as breakfast included.
