Detached house that is part of a Podere consisting of 2 residential units. Ground floor consists of a spacious sun terrace, spacious kitchen and living room, bathroom with shower and toilet. On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms, 1 with separate shower and toilet and then a separate bathroom. Upstairs, the bedrooms open onto another terrace. There is a private swimming pool of 6 by 12 meters with a spacious garden and solarium and BBQ around it. The swimming pool is exclusively for the guests of our house.
In the living room there is a sofa bed that can sleep up to 2 guests.

We had a lovely stay at Podere La Sterza. The property was clean and well appointed. The pool area in particular is great for kids! Our hosts were very gracious to drive us to Pisa when our car broke down, so that went beyond our expectations. Recommended!

If you want to spend time in a unique place, this is the perfect house. It delights and you can fall in love and experience amazing moments. We felt like we were in an Italian fairy tale. Huge space, everything preserved in the Tuscan atmosphere. As for practical things: perfectly equipped. An ideal base for exploring Tuscany. I recommend it 100%.

Énormément d’insectes

La taille de la maison correspond à nos attentes, les équipements étaient également adéquats. Nous sommes conscients qu’il s’agit d’une maison de campagne mais il y avait énormément d’insectes, spécialement des fourmis qui envahissaient les poutre de la terrasse. Des plafoniers ou des ventilateurs auraient été apprécies en raison de la chaleur

Vacances en Toscane

Nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver la maison, mais une fois trouvée, la maison est bien située et dans un bel environnement agricole avec des beaux paysages. La personne qui s’occupe de la piscine est très gentille. Nous n’avons pas rencontré les propriétaires. Concernant la maison, pour la prestation il y possibilité de faire quelques améliorations, par exemple le liner de la piscine est complètement détendu, la baignoire a remou n’est pas utilisable, les bidets n’ont pas pu être utilisé car pas d’eau, on a demandé à faire changer une lunette de toilette qui était cassée… cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un bon séjour. Petit détail à savoir, sachez qu’il ne faut pas faire de bruit à la piscine, et pas de musique en général après 21h.

Super mooi huis

We hebben met 2 gezinnen met tiener kinderen een super leuke week gehad. De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien, elke slaapkamer heeft een eigen badkamer, in de keuken er zijn 2 koelkasten, een vaatwasser en is er meer dan voldoende bestek en servies. Het huis heeft een prachtig terras met barbecue. Ook het zwembad is super, lekker groot en werd elke dag schoon gemaakt, er zijn 8 ligbedden en 2 grote parasols. Door de hoge temperaturen hebben we daar behoorlijk wat uurtjes doorgebracht. De omgeving is rustig, je hebt wel echt een auto nodig om boodschappen te doen en stadjes te bezoeken, Volterra, San Gimignano en Cecina (voor een dagje strand) zijn aanraders. .

Ein super Urlaub

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in diesem fantastischen Ferienhaus in der Toskana verbracht! Mit vier Erwachsenen und vier Kindern waren wir vor Ort und das Haus hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Der große Pool zur privaten Nutzung war das absolute Highlight für uns alle. Wir haben viele Stunden dort verbracht und die Kinder hatten eine Menge Spaß. Die Raumaufteilung des Ferienhauses ist perfekt durchdacht, sodass wir uns nie beengt gefühlt haben. Alle notwendigen Einrichtungsgegenstände waren vorhanden und die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt ist die Waschmaschine, die etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist und eine Erneuerung vertragen könnte. Dies hat unseren Aufenthalt jedoch nur minimal beeinträchtigt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war stets gut. Sie war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar, was uns sehr beruhigt hat.

Erholung pur!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Für zwei Familien mit jeweils zwei Kindern war die Größe des Hauses perfekt. An dem riesigen Pool oder auf der großen überdachten Terrasse haben wir viel Zeit verbracht. Das alte Haus ist mit viel Liebe restauriert. Man sollte nur nichts im Supermarkt vergessen, denn zum nächsten größeren Markt sind es 20min mit dem Auto. Dafür gibt es viele wunderschöne kleine Dörfer in der Nähe zu entdecken.

Wonderfull Tuscany

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, wir waren bereits zum 2.ten Mal in der Unterkunft. Das Haus und die Terrassen sind sehr schön und der Pool ist traumhaft. Das Essen, der Wein(besonders bei Sergio im Pieve de Pitti!!) und die Menschen sind einfach super und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär. Einziges Manko war, das 3 der 6 Sonnenliegen kaputt sind, diese sollten dringend erneuert werden und vielleicht etwas mehr Pflege der Außenanlagen(Rasen mähen und Laub fegen) Die Waschmaschine ist mit Vorsicht zu genießen, diese steht nach dem Schleudern plötzlich mitten in der Küche. ;-) Wir kommen sicher wieder! Tolle ruhige Lage, super Pool

Eine tolle Landschaft. Ein noch besserer Pool. Das Haus ist funktional ausgestattet. Wir waren mit 2 Familen da. Genug Platz im Haus und noch viel mehr Platz im Garten, auf der Terrasse und am Pool. Ein wirklich ruhiger Ort mit gut erreichbaren Orten wie Pisa und Florenz in der Nähe. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt. Die Kommunikation vor - während und nach unserem Aufenthalt mit den Vermieter war super.

Ruhig and idyllisch

Bis auf das Nachbarhaus sehr ruhig und isoliert gelegen. Alles sehr sauber. Das Schwimmbad ist gross und war bei der Hitze die wir hatten toll erfrischend! Die Gegend ist traumhaft, grün und hügelig. Hervorragende Lokale in der Nähe, von denen aber einige nur abends geöffnet sind.

Prachtige omgeving. Midden in Toscane. Gezellige buitenruimte met relax sitje. Groot zwembad met prachtig uitzicht. Modern ingerichte kamers. Goede keuken. Naast het vakantiehuis was nog een huis met veel dieren ( paard honden en katten). De een vond dat erg leuk de ander was er allergisch voor. Dus dat hadden we wel vooraf willen weten. Wir hatten hier einen tollen Urlaub mit einer befreundeten Familie. In dem Haus wurde an alles gedacht, die Küche ist super ausgestattet und auf der Terrasse haben wir uns auch super wohl gefühlt. Schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Sehr schönes Haus mit vielen liebevollen Details und kreativen Bädern. Traumhafter und sehr sauberer, gepflegter Pool und schön gestalteter Außenbereich. Ruhige Lage in dem weniger touristischen Teil der Toskana. 45 min zum Meer, 1:15 nach Florenz und Siena. Supermarkt und nächstgelegene Restaurants in 15 min Fahrt erreichbar. Problemlose und komfortable Schlüsselübergabe. Achtung, die Adresse ist etwas widersprüchlich und in der Gegend gibt es mehrere Podera La Sterza. Herrlich für erholsame Ferien!

Insgesamt wunderschön

Es gab ein paar Kommunikations Schwierigkeiten mit den Vermietern, da sie kein deutsch oder englisch sprechen und das Haus ist etwas schwierig zu finden, da es sehr abgelegen ist. Das Haus an sich ist aber wunderschön, mit ausreichend Platz für alle Gäste, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten um das Haus herum, Kinderfreundlich und um Anliegen wird sich schnell und freundlich gekümmert.

Zoveel mooier dan op foto’s

Het huis, de tuin en het zwembad waren fantastisch! We hebben 10 dagen genoten. Het huis is ingericht met respect voor het authentieke karakter, maar is tegelijk heel comfortabel. De keuken is zeer goed uitgerust, de bedden liggen heerlijk en alles was heel proper. Het zwembad is nog veel groter en aangenamer dan gedacht. We werden goed ontvangen en alles uitgelegd. Ze kwamen iedere dag langs om het zwembad te onderhouden zonder ons te storen en waren verder super vriendelijk. Het enigste minpunt was de overlast van de vliegen (en andere insecten) wanneer we buiten zaten om te eten, maar dat is nu eenmaal niet te vermijden dit jaar en was overal het geval. Over alle bedden hing een muskietennet, dus ‘s nachts werden we met rust gelaten, zelf met de ramen open. Nog eens bedankt aan De eigenares om wat babyspullen en -speelgoed achter te laten voor onze eenjarige zoon. Kortom, we hebben een ultiem vakantiegevoel ervaren!

Fantastic holiday home

What a beautiful house, pool and garden! The bedrooms were all a good size, ideal for our party of 6 adults. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cupboard space (unusual in self catering properties!). The hot tap needs to be used with caution as it’s very hot. The veranda area was lovely, although the flies were off putting (it was very hot), so we moved dinner to later in the evening when we could enjoy the bats whizzing past instead. The Weber barbecue was a hit. The garden had lovely plants attracting lots of butterflies. The pool area was excellent and It was very peaceful. My sons enjoyed watching the cats and dogs next door. We know the area quite well and revisited Lucca, San Gimignano and Pisa, but mostly relaxed. We had a fabulous stay, thanks.

Tolles Haus!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in einem wunderschönen Haus. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Sogar für den Aufenthalt mit Kleinkindern ist das Nötigste vorhanden. Zwei Holzbabybetten sowie zwei Hochstühle sind ebenfalls vor Ort. Der Pool ist unglaublich toll und groß. Es stehen super Sonnenliegen und zwei großzügige Schirme, die viel Schatten spenden, bereit. Das Haus ist in Wahrheit noch viel, viel schöner, als auf den Fotos dargestellt. Auch der Empfang und die Schlüsselübergabe, durch Bekannte der Eigentümerin, war sehr freundlich und man hat uns alles erklärt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Traumhaftes Toskana Anwesen

Es war ein super Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist wunderbar groß für 2 Familien mit Kindern, super sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man hat seine absolute Ruhe und stört niemanden. Die Küche ist mit allen ausgestattet, was man zum kochen etc. benötigen würde (wir haben es bevorzugt Essen zugehen) Einzig der Kühlschrank sollte einmal ausgetauscht werden. Hier funktioniert das Gefrierfach super, jedoch das Kühlfach nicht, Getränke etc. werden nicht kalt genug. Das Grundstück zum Nachbarn sollte mit einen weiteren Zaun abgegrenzt werden, damit die Hunde des Nachbarn nicht rüber gelaufen kommen! WIr kommen gern wieder.

Uriges Wohnen in schöner Umgebunt

Das großzügige Haus vermittelt eine typisch toskanische Atmosphäre; der Garten ist schön angelegt, der Pool hat eine tolle Größe, die geräumige Veranda mit Esstisch und Lounge Ecke einfach herrlich. Gerade nach Rückkehr von den "Hotspots" war es eine Wohltat in diese Oase der Ruhe zurückzukehren, die Ruhe und die Natur zu genießen. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit!

Wunderschönes Anwesen im Herzen der Toskana

Wir hatten eine super Zeit im Haus von Veronique. Der Außenbereich mit Pool ist viel schöner als er auf den Bildern wirkt. Im Haus hat man ausreichend Platz für 8 Leute, da jedes der vier Zimmer ein eigenes Bad nutzen kann. Lediglich das Bad im Erdgeschoss hätte etwas sauberer sein können, ansonsten war alles top. Der Pool wird von sehr netten Einheimischen regelmäßig gereinigt und ansonsten konnte auch jedes kleine Problemchen trotz kleinerer Sprachbarrieren sofort und sehr zuvorkommend geregelt werden. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Grandioses Anwesen in typisch toskanischer Landschaft !

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und haben uns von Anfang im Anwesen von Veronique Cocquyt sehr wohl gefühlt. Mitten in der idyllischen Toskana liegt das sehr schöne, typisch-toskanische und gepflegte Grundstück mit Süd Ausrichtung, einem riesengroßen Garten mit wundervollen sehr sauberen und großen Pool (6x12 m) ! Highlight und Mittelpunkt des Urlaubes war die weitläufige überdachte Veranda. Egal ob beim Frühstück, zur Siesta oder abends haben wir den Urlaub genossen. Ein weitschweifiger Blick vom Grundstück gibt einem das Gefühl mitten im Herzen der Toskana zu verweilen. Das Haus ist hochwertig eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet, super Herd, tolle Pfannen und vor allem ausreichend und gutes Geschirr und Equipment! Toller Weber Grill ! Jeden 2. Tag wurde der Pool gereinigt obwohl maximal 5 Käfer ertrunken waren ;-). Nach Osten, Süden und Westen ist unverdautes Land bis zum Horizont. Im Norden (Rückseite von Haus und Grundstück) ist ein ebenfalls schönes Haus im gleichen Stil welches „Bed & Breakfast bietet - wir haben von den dortigen Mitmenschen ehrlicherweise kaum etwas mitbekommen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt ! ! ! PS: Die Bilder in der Anzeige spiegeln unserer Meinung nach nicht die wirkliche Schönheit des Anwesens wieder !!
