Nice hotel for the money. Good WiFi. Very clean.
Hotel is central and very close to the bus station. We were able to walk there upon our arrival (only a 7 min walk from bus station terminal 1). It also very close to night baazar and only about 15 min from The White Temple. Overall the condition of the room was nice. The outlets close the bed don't work which sucked when trying to charge your phone. But other than that the I recommend this hotel.
I can't say enough about my stay here last weekend. This hotel had the trifecta for me: great location, affordable price, and super clean. We wanted get away from Bangkok to Chiang Rai for the weekend and I almost missed this place on the list because I guess it's new. First of all, the location is right in the heart of the Night Bazaar walking district in downtown Chiang Rai. As Chiang Rai is an old city, it's pretty gritty with character. Hi Chiangrai stands out because it is new, modern, bright, and you can tell that the owners put lot of time into making it a nice, clean escape from the surrounding city (they even went as far as to paint murals on the parking lot walls). The staff was super friendly. We asked about renting motorbikes on our first night and they hooked us up with a local company that actually brought the motorbikes to the hotel the next morning. When we left, they arranged a taxi for us to the hotel. Breakfast is pretty extravagant, with a lot of food choices packed into a rather small breakfast area...we were impressed. The room was huge with a really nice balcony. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the showers to the sheets. I even took pictures of my room and the hotel to share with my family and friends because I couldn't believe how nice it was for the price we paid.
I thought this hotel was the most cleanest and comfortable hotel I stayed in Thailand. Nice and quaint, close to places to eat, massage parlors, and Night market.
