Good location, reasonable price, nice stuff! Been there during songkran 2017, stayed at the dorm which was quite nice for 150 baht night. Don't accept cards. No towels but you can hire it for twenty baht. Нормальное место за ту цену что они просят! Будьте готовы заплатить ещё 20 бат за полотенце
We booked 3 separate rooms with 2 occupants each. One of the room have an airconditioning problems. After request for room changing, the same problem occur. The reception not in anyway give any helping hand on transferring the luggage to upper floor as there is no lift. No apology no remorse at all from the hotel. The bathroom always clog too.
This was our first hotel on me and my friends backpackertrip and it was perfect! Close to the center and nice staff. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Everything was fresh and you got a new towel every day. Only minus was that they didn't have u more toilet paper and sometimes bad wifi at the room. Otherwise it was really nice :)
The location of this stay was unbelievably good. You were within walking distance of food and entertainment. In fact if you are here on Sunday, the famous Walking Market is just 2 minutes away. A McDonald's, 7/11 and Starbuck are all within a 100m radius for those who need these familiar places. On most days the area is filled with tourist. The room was large for the price I paid, and comfortable, The curtains kept out a lot of the morning sun and decor was simple. For those who may spend time in the room, there are many channels on the TV to browse and the bathroom is clean. The room alsoe come with a fridge and a mini bar. There is no breakfast but a tea/coffee corner downstairs. The staff are also pleasant. Definitely convenient.
Never in my life have I experienced bed bugs like the ones at Lanna House. They were huge. We went down to the receptionists in the middle of the night, and actually took down the dead bug to show her, and she moved us to a different room. I expected an apology the next day but got nothing. The rooms also smelt funky! I would not recommend.
Stayed in 606 on 2nd fl and got terrible facility there; the toilet cover is so dirty with some fungus on it that we cant sit on. The air con was making very loud sound all the times. The floor was dirty. Room isnt soundproof. Nothing was impressive here unless the location that was ao close to Night Market.
I honestly do not understand the 7.4 rating this hotel has on Agoda? The place is in an awesome location within 1 minute of Tha Pae gate with a bar next door, starbucks opposite and 7/11 less than a 5 minute walk. If you grade solely on Location then this place would be a 10! Unfortunately it does not match up in any other way. We entered about 9.30pm and received a lacklustre greeting and a general finger pointing us on our way. We were given a room with 3 single beds that you could not move instead of the double I booked. We dropped off our stuff and went out to eat. We returned about mid night. We found the beds were full of (very big) bed bugs. They were everywhere in and on the beds. We also noticed drops of old blood on the sheets. Possibly the result of someone sleeping with the bugs?? Anyway obviously we did not sleep there. We got a washkit and stayed elsewhere for the night. In the morning we checked out at 9am despite having paid for 2 nights and booked into another hotel. I cannot comment on wifi as we were not informed about it. I can't comment on food or room service as we did not hang around. I can say that if you look at the hotel website (like I did) it looks great. Unfortunately these pictures are way out of date. The hotel is not handicap friendly as there is no elevator. The place is tired and worn from the threadbare red carpet to the dated and dirty looking decor. Obviously I wont recommend this place as bed bugs are a deal breaker.
Stayed here for four nights last September, and it was livable but not recommended guest house. The bed was good, clean, but aircon was leaking, and it didn't look like its from the moist, it needs fixing, like theres a leaking faucet. It's irritating especially at night when sleeping, I had to put a towel on the floor to minimize the sound. And the management knew about this because the next day after they've made my room, they put a new towel on the floor. Funny. The staff at the reception wwere okay, but there was one there who wasn't really helpful --I was asking how much is the tuktuk or the cab from the house to my destinations, but she didn't know anything at all about it. On my checkout, I also left a souvenir in the room (which I noticed after I left), but as they checked my room before I left, they didn't even tell me about it. I wish they'd have the initiative to ask me about it. There's a bar beside it which plays music loudly until about 12, so if you're a light sleeper and needs to rest early, you won't be able to sleep.
We booked a room for 3 nights, and were given a room on level 3. In the middle of the night my friend was bitten by bed bugs, and we requested for a change in room. The staff opened 3 other rooms on the same level, and we noticed they were infested with bed bugs as well. We were told only rooms at that level were affected, if so, shouldn't the guesthouse do something about it? Wifi was weak in the rooms. Location was good, within walking distance from night bazaar and old city.
beware of bed bug infestation in this hotel. rooms are on promotion at attractive prices, gotten twin room at 2100thb for 3 nights. however both beds and flooring have bed bug. staff are nonchalent to the situation. no laundry services or bnb available as well. will advise ppl to carefully consider before staying here.
