Customer service was subpar. The location is great. Bed was uncomfortable.

Hotel is easy walking distance of Night Bazaar. Hotel staff helpful and friendly and offers tours. Reasonable price for clean nice rooms!

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights this past week. The best part of this very nice hotel is the staff. Almost always very helpful and friendly. The restaurant makes the same food every morning, but it is good and clean, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are CLEAN, and more then adequate - though I prefer a softer bed. As I said the staff were very nice but my wife and I had 2 small problems with the staff. The first was they only give one key and my wife and I went separate ways and I kept the key. When she got back in they would not let her into our room. They said they have no spare card key to turn on the air conditioner so even if she got in she couldn't turn on the much need A/C. Seems like with a little help the manager could solve this problem. The second problem was that our plastic card key broke one night while trying to open the door. Unfortunately it is attached to the key and fragile. The clerk wanted to charge us 100 Baht. Fortunately the manager stepped in and very politely told us "no charge." Other than those two small problems it was a very nice 6 days in the Small Hotel.

Ended up staying at this boutique hotel for 8 days, though I originally just booked it for 4. The staff was first rate, from the first to last person; always helpful and friendly. Aircon in the room was first-rate, the room design was really comfortable and stylish. Pool was closed, but hopefully that will be opened soon. Buffet-style breakfast is served in a rooftop dining room, and the staff up there is really top notch. Will cook you eggs or omelettes to order, too. Highly recommend this place.

A great bargain or the money. Neatly appointed, great AC (not found much of the time in Thailand), King size bed. Staff was top-notch from top to bottom, all very helpful and friendly. Anything I needed out of the ordinary, only had to be asked for once - and was automatically included the rest of my 8-day stay. Breakfast is good and is served on the top floor with views of the city. They will cook you eggs to order, as well. Night Bazaar is an easy 5-minute walk, just up and around the corner, and there are loads of restaurants nearby, as well as shops, tailors, etc.

We stayed for four nights; hotel and rooms were always very clean. Room is basic; bed was a little hard, but comfortable. Breakfast in the rooftop was a highlight. Really convenient to Tha Phae gate, one of the main entrances to the walled city. Concierge was super helpful with helping us to book activities. Front desk staff was pleasant enough but a little hassled.
