Nice Place, quite and clean with excelent location

Very nice place, not fancy but cozy and very quiet. Nice room, clean and spacious. Nice and friendly staff. Excellent location in the old town near to everything, main touristics places in the city as well as great dinning places can reach by walk from here and is easy to get any transport in the area. If you stay there would be great if visit near places to take a meal, Al Dente italian restaurant, Espada or Drop In, all with excelent western food.

Great stay!

I have enjoyed my stay here! Although it is older and dated the room is clean and spacious. Very affordable room rate! The office staff is fantastic!!! They are there to help get a taxi, give directions and even help with cell phone connections. My stay is for 3 weeks and it feels like a home away from home! I definitely will stay here again if I come back to vacation in Chiang Mai.

The space was super affordable, I received a private room at Chana place for the cost of a dorm bed in most of the a ailable accomodations in Chiang Mai. There is no elevator, so if you are tired of walking around Chiang Mai a fourth floor room, while a good deal, may not be for you. Very easy check in, super super appreciated the early check in they allowed me! Thank you!

I stayed here in late May, 2019. All the staff members I worked with throughout my stay were helpful and knowledgeable. I stayed in a private room with a double bed. The room was very spacious with desk and chair, a fridge and a TV. Private bath was also huge. The only negatives, I had very tiny ants in my room. But I figure it’s SE Asia. Also, three things you’ll get fined for: smoking, food, durian. Kind of sucks you can’t eat in your own room. But might be related to ant issue. Finally, the WiFi is weird. You’ll need to get a new username and PW every two days. Also, there are times in the day (usually weekends and some busy evenings) where the connection is spotty at best. The concierge said it was because I have an iPhone and those have issues with there internet. That said, these issues aren’t enough to not stay here.

We stayed for 3 nights and I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here more than 1 night. The AC isn’t that strong, there was a constant weird odor coming from our bathroom and the bathroom ceiling was leaking down the vanity mirror. Also, watch for huge cockroaches. Our original reservation said room with view but there wasn’t even a window in the room!
