The Carpenters Arms
5/5 Excellent
"Lovely old pub with a real fire. This put a smile on my face as soon as I walked in.
Friendly staff, good drinks options, nice food - breakfast was excellent.
The room was a good size, clean and decorated well, giving it a nice character.
I went for a quick run before dinner and dropped down into Pensford. This has a lovely old church and striking viaduct. Just what I needed before settling in front of the fire with a well earned pint.
This is a quaint and delightful pub with lots of character.
I will definitely be staying again when I'm next down this way."
