This cozy retreat features 3 bedrooms with a mix of sleeping arrangements including a king, 3 queen, and 1 twin bed. With modern amenities like WiFi, heating, and a washing machine, guests can relax and unwind in comfort. There is an indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Snowmobile tours and rentals as well as boat, kayak, and paddle board rentals all close by. Skiing is within 20 minutes at Gore Mountain or West Mountain. We have the Chestertown Challenge with 7 hiking trials for all level hikers. The 46 high peaks to challenge your hiking adventures. There is also Great Escape for families to enjoy rides and a water park, Extreme Adventure for those looking to challenge themselves physically. It is a beautiful space and very comfortable! The kitchen was stocked with all the possible items. The hot tub was a treat after a day of skiing at Gore mountain (only 18 minutes) away! We had a wonderful stay!

Overall a nice stay. Great location near Loon Lake, with easy access to the public beach. The house was clean on arrival and the secluded setting offered a peaceful, wooded atmosphere.That said, there were a few issues worth noting.Not dealbreakers, but worth mentioning:- The basement was under construction and off-limits, with materials and vehicles near the fire pit disrupting the vibe.- Some floor panels in the main living space were loose and wobbly.- The propane tank for the grill was empty on arrival. To their credit, they apologized and offered to reimburse us for a new one.- For a house that sleeps 9, the available pots were a bit small.More concerning:- We found loose nails on the floor—worrisome with kids around.- Sheets and bath towels weren’t provided, which wasn’t made clear until after booking. Beach towels I understand, but the rest should be disclosed more clearly.- The TV constantly crashed while streaming. It would restart every 10 minutes at worst, despite strong internet. Volume was also capped at a low level.- One bedroom AC outlet lost power, along with a few others. The breaker wasn’t tripped, which was odd. Luckily the nights were cool.The hosts were friendly and responsive. I don’t mean this harshly—just honest feedback that might help improve the stay for future guests. The place has great potential with a few fixes.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting!

The house and setting were everything we anticipated from the pictures and more. The decor in the kitchen and bathrooms was exceptional. Very spacious rooms and great family space. Dining options are great walking distance from the house. The owners could not have been kinder or easier to contact. We are looking forward to booking again next year!

Family Weekend

Our weekend stay at this newly built home was wonderful! This home is perfect inside and out with all the modern conveniences including a wood burning fireplace and well equipped kitchen. There was plenty of room for our family and we will definitely be back!
