Beautiful house at Green Mansions

We are grandparents and stayed with our two children, their spouses and two grandchildren. The house is very big and laid out very nicely. The large finished basement has multiple beds and a separate area with a comfortable couch and large tv. It also has its own bath so it is a great space for a family with small kids. The kitchen is very well equipped for any cooking you need to do which is so nice. It is very roomy and sits 8 comfortably. We also loved the sunny room off the livingroom and having a half bath right there on the first floor.Some of us walked down to the wonderful beach and some drove down with our supplies. The area is very hilly but it’s great exercise walking. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking in the large lake. There are many chairs and umbrellas on the beach.The area is so nice with shopping, restaurants and recreation.

Perfect Lake George Gateway

Our stay at the Tripp Lake cabin near Lake George was absolutely perfect! The cabin was cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained, with all the amenities (we brought our sheets and towels) we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We especially loved the variety of board games available as our family loves playing board games. The location was great too—secluded enough for privacy, but still close to Lake George attractions. Our host Elisabeth was friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication easy. We can’t wait to come back!

Great property with hilly location

Property is very clean, well laid out and very spacious for a group of 8 people. The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils you need for cooking. The owners were very responsive and easy to reach. You have good internet at the property but may not have cellular signal. The mattress were a little soft, specially in the basement. If you prefer firm mattress you may have issues. The other thing to consider is to read the fine print- bring your own towels and bedsheets. We had to go to a local store to purchase some, it was an inconvenience. We visited the property when it was snowing. The property is located on a hill, so if you are driving up the hill when it has snowed your car can get stuck if you don’t have All wheel drive car. The roads are cleaned overnight so we did not face a lot of problem. We got stuck at the bottom of the hill twice and had to hike up the hill on the slippery snowy roads. This may be not an issue during other seasons. But, overall we had a good time at the property.
