Famed for its cricket presence, being home to the Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground which is just a short stroll away. Chester-le-Street has a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars, and also has the lovely Riverside Park – the perfect place for dog-walking, taking children for a paddle or to simply enjoy the tranquillity of the area.
