We spent 2 nights on leisure-- really enjoyed being off the beaten path while still within 30 or so minutes from attractions. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. Noise excessive especially with children running up and down hallway. Stay on east end if possible away from Sonic. Also, we had a "wakeup call" around 6AM on first morning due to someone triggering the hotel's fire alarm. Planning to sleep a little late but after the alarm got up and went to breakfast.
Easy access to Sylva, local area, shopping, and eateries. You immediately come to the conclusion that the hotel is well maintained as soon as you walk into the lobby. The managers were away to a corporate conference, but should be pleased that their staff ran the day to day operation in a very professional and attentive manner. That goes for the front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping personnel. Kudos to all especially and forgive me if I left out your name, Nicole, Taylor, Bret, Roger, and Ricky. Roger and Ricky were all over the place making sure the guests enjoyed their stay. The breakfast area was spotless and adequate size. Breakfast items were well stocked and cleanliness maintained. It's obvious that these folks are customer service oriented. Thanks again to all at this Comfort Inn who made our four day stay enjoyable.
Great central location, near gas stations, banking, Wal-Mart, groceries and major roads. I was here 2 weeks and had great friendly service. Staff was always pleasant and attentive to my every need. Breakfast was very decent, exercise room was very well equipped, no complaints. I highly recommend this hotel.
We only had one night here but enjoyed the stay. The hotel lobby and breakfast area are very pretty. Our room was nice and the breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again. Nice staff as well.
We spent 7 nights here on vacation and really enjoyed being off the beaten path while still within 30 or so minutes from most of the areas attractions. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. The only downside we found was noise. We could hear the people next door talking and being over a Sonic, there was traffic noise.
Whatever you do do not make a mistake is your reservation making . My boss was setting up a room for me and another co-worker for an out of state job and he accidentally made the reservation for a week earlier then needed . The next day when we realized it I called to cancel the reservation . They said this is not a refundable error and we would be required to pay the full price still even without staying a single night in the hotel. I called the hotel itself also and got the same anwser. I completely understand company policy but this one is a but much in my opinion. There are cases that should be a case Hy case situation that would be handled by a manger and this definitely qualifies as one of those situations . Unfortunate
During check in, there was a woman walking in with a couple of dogs. Were were told they were making an exception to thier "No dog" policy because they had people coming from down south, evacuating the hurricane Irma. What a great thing! I love that fact they did this to help people out on the last minute! The hotel and staff was great. Hotel and food was excellent. Plan to stay here again when we visit my daughter next year
Quick overnight stay prior to early morning medical procedure. Property is super clean, rooms well appointed and quiet, staff very professional yet friendly. We weren't able to try the breakfast buffet, but it sure smelled good! We look forward to staying here again sometime.
It's an average hotel that is looking shabby pretty fast. The room itself smelled wet or moldy all the time. Big stains on the carpet right when you enter the room and the bathtub hadn't been cleaned properly, the shower walls themselves the tile was all spotted and dirty like they just cleaned the floor and forgot the walls. There was a red mystery stain on the comforter which is just gross. The wall paper is coming loose next to the bath with mold and a dirty floor right next to the shower as well. Breakfast was nothing but excuses 2 days in a row. Lots of things simply empty or missing. The young man handling it when asked for gravy said, "Well it's there until it's not." then telling us it takes too long to make some more. Yes that's why your supposed to check on it all the while and start making new when it looks low, it's called doing your job. Same thing happened the following day with another person at the breakfast service area. On a brighter note, the girl who checked us in was lovely. However as a business owner this hotel is going to look really bad really quick if they don't have some management oversight on their property.
This place was excellent! Only 3 years old and everything looks new. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Stayed here 4 nights. Staff was excellent! Very professional but not stuffy. I felt like I was at home. I highly recommend this hotel!
