Good service.. Reasonable price.. Nice restaurants near by as the Marine... Try it.. I recommend for family stay. Clean and good. Good breakfast... Go for it. Great service. They try their best. Good lobby. It seems the most support staff has difficulty communicating in English (a bit). Since I am not a native, it was difficult for me to communicate effectively sometime.

Hotel is very Good and location too. My experience is very good and will surely recommend this hotel in the future. This property is little highly prices and if hotel can offer good rates we can go ahead for Chennai Hotel tie up

We stayed a week in mid December 2017. We consulted the hotel directly before booking, but ended up booking online via the Radisson web-site, getting a business class room for INR 5215 per night. The pick up at the airport (MAA) went smoothly enough. We were unable to locate a sim card vendor at the airport, but it was nearly midnight. Our room was on the third floor, overlooking the main road and had constant horn honking and other noise. It was also a western exposure, which meant keeping curtains drawn during the day or risk the HVAC not being able to cope with the heat. The room had good Wi-Fi once we were able to get our devices onto the network (two laptops and two mobiles). The bar fridge (not very cold) was quickly emptied and then used to cool our water (the hotel was pretty good providing water bottles, particularly if you tipped daily) as well as other beverages/food. The TV had decent sound and we were able to hook up our laptops to the HDMI port (we brought our own cord). The bed was comfortable and upon request the hotel provided firm pillows. We also had a luggage rack provided to supplement the one built into the walk-in closet (which actually had HVAC air intake and its own lighting). As confirmed prior to booking, the business class rooms get free breakfast and happy hour at the Executive Lounge. Unfortunately, due to “technical” reasons the lounge was closed for our entire stay. Instead we eventually found that we could go to the Winchester Pub downstairs and have free local alcoholic or any non-alcoholic and one item off the food (starter) menu (per person). These items all quite spicy (perhaps to encourage thirst). The pub at happy hour time typically played hip hop or rap music if it was not doing Karaoke. Definitely not a business class experience as the lights being turned down prevent being able to read paper and the music made conversation difficult. The gym had an assortment of static and aerobic machines. Of the latter two were broken (not bad considering). The provision of towels for exercising and water bottles was sporadic and the room temperature was high. There was an pool, but seeing the full ashtrays nearby and use of the area by pigeons, it was decided not to chance swimming. One day we hired a hotel car and driver to get to two churches and another hotel. Despite being given directions by the concierge and indicating he knew where all locations were, he could not find the churches (we spotted the spires and provided him guidance after he had consulted four or five locals for directions). His English was non-existent, but he was able to find the other hotel we wanted to visit. On our exit trip to another hotel, the driver "Annand" seemed very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. The staff at the Oasis restaurant, where we had our included breakfast were very considerate and strove to meet our requests. Overall, we got good value for our money, but due to the pollution downtown, we opted to go to a seaside venue.

Not good. No brightness at the entrance. Staff were not very receptive in their greetings, reception needs repair, no checking at 11 pm when I entered. Swimingpool was bad., no one At the spa or in gym to guide in the night

Had been to the hotel during 29th December to jan 1 2018. The reception and breakfast people are very courteous and take care of the guest and keep the guests comfortable. The hotel is at a very good location . The breakfast is quite good . I didn’t like the part that when I had ordered plates in room dining service on 31 st December night 7 pm didn’t get any and reminded again at 9 pm and I didnt receive the same which is not good . The flush in bathroom was not working properly .

I had a wish to take my parents to a good hotel for stay. And Radisson Blu fullfilled my wish my dad/mom and my son enjoyed the stay. Complimentary breakfast was awesome with many varieties Thanks team

Terrible stay. The front desk was a mess. They didn’t know what they were doing. My Club Carlson number was not entered despite me asking about it while checking in. I confirmed again and the lady at the desk told me it was entered. At check out, the entire food bill was out on us without the 5pc discount for members. They told us the discount is not for in room dining( which we have got in other radisson blu properties). Also, the restaurants in the hotel were meant only for new year celebs and hence we were forced to dine in room. So it’s their mistake we didn’t get the discount. The in room dining was good thought. Very prompt. We asked for a shaving kit and dental kit at 7 am on 1/1/18. We didn’t get it by 8. We called again. They brought them. But the shaving kit didn’t have razors! We had to call again. As soon as we checked in, the hotel info book mentioned a Baby cot. We asked for it at the front desk by Phone. The person who picked the phone was surprised by the request, then said he/she would confirm with house keeping and call back. Neither the call nor the cot came. Bathroom smelled of kerosene when we walked in. But it later disappeared. So we didn’t Complain. Perhaps some disinfection. The tap wasn’t draining out. But repaired in a jiffy. The shower wasn’t working, but we didn’t complain because we were fed up complaining. Just used the hand shower. Food ordered via in room dining were nice. Breakfast was again a sorry affair. Food was below average, or average at best. They ran out of Perrier water. They ran out of most food but was slow to replenish. But that’s probably because of the new year crowd. Location is good for Chennai city centre! Terrible stay. We had to sleep with the baby on our bed. Do you realise how dangerous that is? So much for their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee! Terrible.

Very good service by Hotel staff. Room & bath room are maintained well. Very good services in the restaurant and the spread was very good. Front desk staff were good & Check in and check out was done very efficiently.

Plac has excellent ambiance along with a nice sense of hospitality ... Need to work on : -- Starters and deserts -- New year events Factors to appreciate -- -- Highly supportive staff -- Gestures and attitude of staff. wishing all the best !!

hotel has state of art facilities, ambient atmosphere, courteous staff. but the food has to be improved location in the heart of the city and easily accessible to the main shopping malls we had a relaxing stay with the family
