I recently came back from a short trip to Chennai, and cannot recommend this place enough. The pictures honestly do not do this place justice, the rooms were tastefully appointed, the hallways were warm and welcoming, and I felt like I was transported to a different world after stepping into this place. Additionally, the breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly. The location was also great, as I was just a 10 minute ride away from the two major shopping malls in Chennai. The front desk team also provided great recommendations on where to have quality food in Chennai. I would say that this is definitely one of the better Radisson hotels i've stayed in. Thank you Radisson Team! You guys were phenomenal.
If you are looking good hotel for 2-3 days stay, this hotel could be great choice. You never feel home away by the services offered by staff... The food quality is awesome and its value for money. Most imp - BAR is available :)
Its a okay hotel if you are alone and on business, if you are on leisure and with family they don't even recognize it. Avoid if with family. Swimming pool is less than average for hygiene and service. Resturants are the same. Way too expensive for the value. Spa and salon are average. In the same price bracket there are many more better options in Chennai.
I stayed with family. It was nice but app 6km from marina beach. Connectivity is good however bit noisy area. First they gave connected room but later on complaining it was changed. Good for family vacation
We stayed for 4 nights with family. Locations under heavy traffic zone. We stayed at room no. 420 ( I'm not sure whether guys should be offered with such room #) First they didn't provide dental kits & room sandle after informing them it's made available. I mean do you need to ask for this from a 5 star hotel. Room was clean. Poll was too cold, so be cautious. Staff behaviors and service were Ok. And the only best part is huge breakfast item. A local autowala named "Francis" served us better then the Hotel service. Considering the cost I would hardly recommend to stay here.
Dear Radisson Team, I would like to thank you for the hospitality shown to me and my colleagues during last 3 weeks stay at Radisson Blu Hotel. It has been an amazing and comfortable stay so far. I would like to make few special mentions as a token of appreciation from me and my friends. (Chef Mohan(Oasis),Mehtab(front desk),Nisha(HouseCleaning) have been very helpful and attentive during our stay). I would be a pleasure to visit back here and to refer this hotel to my friends and colleagues. Rgds, Vishwajit
I stayed 3 nights at the hotel when visiting for business. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I was surprised at how big the rooms were. The food is excellent at the Oasis and Kebab Factory - would highly recommend both. The staff is also helpful and courteous. The internet connectivity (free for 2 devices) was excellent - I was able to have video conference calls without any interruptions. All in all, one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Chennai.
I had a great experience at Radisson Blu Chennai. The staff were friendly, the ambience was great and the breakfast spread was wonderful. I would surely love to stay here again and I recommend this hotel to all visitors to Chennai
Checked in today. Here is how it went: Was extremely surprised to see an extremely sad looking lobby area and reception. In fact, it shouldn't be called a lobby coz there aren't even any proper sit out areas except for a tucked away space in a rather dark corner ( image attached) I was given an upgrade by the reception staff, which is much appreciated. However, the room on its own is rather trodden- stain marks on linen, worn out furniture. Service: It seems the most support staff has difficulty communicating in English (or Hindi). Since I am not a native, it was difficult for me to communicate effectively. I ordered cut fruits and was send two apples instead, which was kind of funny. Amenities: The shower had no hot water. Since I was running late, I had no choice but to manage with cold water. If you are someone who travels light and avoids carrying basic toiletries, I would strongly recommend to not rely on the complimentary toiletries at this hotel. I found everything in the bath to be of rather poor quality. Next, the kettle in the room turned out to be damaged and dysfunctional which is again something you wouldn't expect at a hotel that claims to be a five star. I did go to the pool but couldn't bring myself to think of taking a dip here. It is way too small and didn't look tempting at all. Overall, so far my experience has been full of glitches. I have stayed at other hotels in Chennai, even around this area and had good experiences. Chose this one coz of its proximity to the US consulate and regretting it already.
The experience was worst and the hotel lacks professionalism. The staff are recruited for the sake of head count. Food quality is not good and very costly. No value for money. This is another lousy site where you have to put minimum 200 words and you are not allowed to close with out 200. What a pity
