We stayed in a suite for six days and it is a night mare; first, we were promised we will get welcome chocolates, fruits etc..never happened. Bath rooms flooded, dirty water filling through out the bath room. Hot water never came in all the six days we were there. ACs doens't cool. Ceiling was leaking. TVs don't work. Phones don't work and reception people says use your cellphone. Towels stink and some days they didn't even change. People who are working at the restaurant are just whiling away; just talking to them selves and not attending customers. Only good thing is room was big and proximity.

The hotel has a very nice and ambient atmosphere. The stay was hassle-free and brilliant. The food was served in buffet style consisting of various types of salads, a bunch of desserts and a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to choose from. The place is beautifully designed to give you an intensely satisfying experience.

I went to this property in Chennai for a business trip.I have already stayed in Sarovar resorts in Allappey and Idukki so I had no other doubts or concerns in my mind during a telephonic booking. After my arrival at hotel the situation was horrible.A person named Stephan was so adament and arrogant and he asked us to wait in the lobby as there where other guests waiting for check in.He told me that I will be called when my turn comes. He just bossed around and vanished.I waited for 15 minutes and I went to a lady at the reception.I dont remember her name though.Gave her the identity card and personal details and waited for getting a room. She took relevent details from me and the usual procedure is to allocate the room keys. But she also asked me to wait for sometime.Mr Stephan had come back by this time and saw me at the check in area and was annoyed for allocating me room before some guest who was waiting for around half an hour. I waited in the lobby and found few customers coming to lobby and shouting for differnet reasons..AC not working for 3 hours..lock not working and inmates got stuck in the room for hours...etc etc.. I felt from my heart not to stay at the hotel and wanted to go out ASAP.I went to the lobby and asked back my credentials provided for check in.The staff at the reception has misplaced those document and I had to literally shout and create a scene to get back those. I lost almost 45 minutes in the lobby after a long and tiresome travel fighting with the staffs. I came across a person who was asked to check in in some other's credentials and he was not willing funny situation though. My dear friends..please opt this property only if you have a enough patience and enough energy to fight with the staff to get a room alloted..Otherwise there are lot more options in and around the area. Take care before you decide

I had stayed in the same hotel a year back but instead of improving they are getting bad from worse. While check in the staff seem to be disinterested, I just started talking and telling my booking details Mr.Sharma ( may be he is manager or something) was at reception he seem to be totally disinterest in my details call his junior Mr.ashok Kumar and ask to handle my booking, this is the hospitality of these people. I guess Both of them have skipp the chapters at their course how to have atleast basic courtesy towards customers. Then Mr. Ashoka Kumar come seems frustrating and as i was early by an hour (11.00 am) and requesting for early check in he blantly refused and says no Room is ready. He would have said this in a more pleasant way and as a regular traveller we can understand the problem with housekeeping and rooms getting cleaned what missing was his right attitude towards customers and feels Abu sarovar is doing mercy by giving Rooms for stay he says we can give room by 11.30 am I said no issues. I waited patiently for half an hour again I tried to contact with him at reception but Mr.ashok.kumar ignores showing he is busy with work I wwnt and waited for more time, so now as per actual check in time i.e 12 pm I went and ask for check in suddenly he gears up and allot a room which means he had the rooms available but wanted to give by 12 pm, No issue in that but why customers should go and ask repeatedly I stead he should have come and said That Room is ready. And the blunder part comes as he handover keys to me, he ask "Sir what time is your departure next day" on hearing this I lost my cool and gave a perfect reply to him with other customers also standing. Do u want customer atleast to check in first or just want to depart from there, felt like a terrible mistake I have done by booking this hotel but as I was exhausted by continue travelling needed some sleep. No Air-condition or fan in lobby People are sweating like hell , In Night after 12 am only Sandwich is available for in Room dining. I have stayed in sarovar properties at many Places but This is the most horrible, Well on the same road you have Hotel The Pride which is much better than this and atleast more customer centric. Avoid booking this hotel if you expect any sort of respect from Staff. Stayed in Room No. 305, 3rd to 4th July 2019.

Had a excellent stay, Namita is very helpful, good hospitality, stay was comfortable,i always used to stay in this hotel since 2 yrs. I look forward to stay in feature also.helffull was good

It was a really good accommodation to spend some weeks in Chennai. We really enjoyed the stay. Especially the food was very good. The room was also nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helping in case of any issue. Everything was up to our expectations.

I must tell you i might have had the most horrible experience in terms of support. I checked in on 16th of June this month with a pre-booking from the hotel. To my surprise the room was stinking bad, when I called up the reception there was a lady literally yelling up at me. Since I checked in at about 2:30PM and I called up the Room Dining for Menu first I got the reply there is no menu for room dining. We get only Curd Rice and Sambar Rice and nothing else available in kitchen even though the closing time was 3PM. After that had asked for Extra Bedding and I was informed it is available and when asked to have it in the room they denied saying not available. Out of all options I then chose to check-out immediately and to my surprise no one stopped us including the management. To the physical torture after 6 hours of travel, our family and kid had to move out to another hotel. NEVER NEVER OPT FOR THIS HOTEL!

Beautiful property, rooms were well organized, very polite and smart staff at the front desk. Will stay here again. Value for money and the ambience was perfect. It was a very pleasant stay at that hotel which had very homely atmosphere. Will gladly refer the hotel to many friends and family who need pleasant stay at Chennai!

We stayed there 3 days. Check in was fast. They had good space for parking but they dont have valet drivers, so u need to park the car by your own. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with good spread and it tastes good. Hotel is in the heart of city. Metro station and egmore railway stations are walking distance (less than 200mtrs).

We stayed here for 4 days. The hotel has a contemporary and modern vibe. Upon arrival we were greeted by smiling faces. The staffs at the reception were friendly and the check in was done without any hassles. It is immaculate and clean. The room is spacious and had an iron and an ironing board. Anna Nagar is very near and so is the metro station. The gymnasium was also well maintained. We are in love with Abu Sarovar Portico.
