Stayed here two night during Chinese New Year hotel was very quiet. Breakfast is good but they mainly focus on the domestic travelers. Lots of local specialties but if you ask what it is.. English could be better but very friendly! Rooms are clean spacious and well maintained. Like in the picture.. bathroom with a view but don't worry an electric curtain can come down if needed ;) Starbucks 10 meter in front of the main entrance :)
This was my third time state at a Millennium Hotel. This one was just as nice as the others and in a really nice area. There was a Starbucks right outside of the front door, and some nice restaurants and boutique shops around the corner. You will definitely want to stay here if you are in Chengdu.
Stayed there for 5 nights, the staff was really helpful despite language differences they will do their best ability to help us with our city transfer and recommend us the nearby convenience store and eateries. The reception & concierge staff Fiona, Frank and Alan was really friendly and helpful they remember us by our name and room number. Good Job..... for the map initiatives. The breakfast restaurant(Amber) staff was really attentive especially Tony, Chef Leon and the rest of restaurant team members. Will definitely go back to Millennium Chéngdū again.
Very nice and clean rooms, friendly service. Close to a nice areas in Chengdu with many diverse restaurants, coffee shops and a park. The park is fine for recreation and see typical local activities like sports, dancing, exercise.
Average hotel and you need to have a reason for staying at this location if you are a tourist because it is not near any of the main attractions. I did like the Zishan walking street nearby with a western bar that shows the rugby games on the tv and there were some great local restaurants within easy walking distance. I had a club room and the executive lounge was ok although the coffee cups were not all clean as I received a coffee and the cup still had lipstick on it and smelt like cigarette smoke which was pretty disgusting for a non-smoker. The breakfast buffet was limited for western food choices in the main restaurant but my biggest challenge was that the Wifi was poor and unreliable compared to other hotels I stayed in during this trip to China.
Was there only for a night but the staff j In nice and the room was clean and very comfortable! The only issue was when I asked for the daily set lunch, what I got had nothing to do with what was advertised... This kind of hotel needs to have a better restaurant.
bit out of the way but a nice neighbor. hotel staff are great, welcoming and accommodating. room is a bit on the small side with only one chair but the bathroom is great! be careful with the breakfast buffet, is on the high side; mine was not including but the staff told me that it was, got a bill at check out and wow!
Did I mention that I just LOVE this hotel? No honestly it is just great; you are welcomed by an extremely friendly staff (who speaks really good English by the way). Large reception with the main restaurant on the same floor. The check in was efficiently done and quick. Rooms were superb; bright, comfy beds, modern - with all you need right there (coffee and tea, water, fridge). And the bathroom; separate rain shower and big bathtub. All amenities provided of course. Rooms were quiet and zircon working perfectly fine as well.... Room service is exquisite so was the "buffet" in the main restaurant. The hotel is outside the city but one can find many restaurants in the surroundings as well as a HUGE Carrefour about 15 minutes walk. And of course; (for those who have read my previous reports: I found a movie theatre showing English/International movies also 15 minutes walk away!). If you like to jog well there is a rather big park right across the road: no bikes, no cars just walking paths .... So very safe. I like the vibe in this city; it is expanding at an incredible [ace but there is still a peaceful - relaxed mood to it) The staff is extremely helpful and friendly to guide you wherever you need to go. one "minor' thing; the wifi (like in many places in China) is not the fastest one would like it to be. But overhaul cannot wait to go back...
Clean, very comfortable and great location. 5 star accommodation and the staff is very attentive. The breakfast is ok but more Chinese western than what most 5 star hotels put on. But overall good value for your $
Room was clean and comfortable, rate was reasonable, and the staff was incredible. (especially the 13th floor lounge lady in charge!) What's not to like. We enjoyed the entire stay and felt like we were appreciated. The training for the staff is as good as it comes in China.
