Cosy cottage in the beautiful market town of Northleach

Tannery cottage is situated on a quiet lane in the heart of the quaint market town of the Northleach. Northleach has everything you need for a country escape, with a butchers, bakers, grocers, wine bar, cafe and award winning pub - The Wheatsheaf Inn.

The cottage was built over 300 years ago and has many character features such as exposed brick work, wooden beam, wood burning fire.

It's an excellent base for country walks and exploring the rest of the Cotswolds with Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Cheltenham all within a 20 minute drive.

The cottage consists of:

- Master Bedroom with built in wardrobe

- Second Bedroom which can be made up as a double bed or 2 singles beds

- Bathroom

- Open plan Kitchen/Lounge with wood burner

- Fully equipped kitchen

Absolutely lovely

Everything you need is there. A little snug downstairs but comfortable for 4. Great location to explore the cotswolds and enough places to eat and drink nearby if you don't want to drive. Even got a cake and some fresh food on arrival .highly recommend.

Ideal for short stay

Property is an excellent place for a couple of days. Would not want to stay much longer as the village does not have many facilities. Used it as a base for 3 days and it was fine. Small and quaint, I found it challenging being over 6 foot. You will eat out a lot as the kitchen is tiny.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider coming back. Only downside was it was slightly smaller than anticipated and is perhaps too cosy for 4 adults. Perfect for a family of 3
