Gîte le JoliCcoin to visit the castle of Azay le rideau and its surrondings

In a large property with a family home dating from the early nineteenth century, the outbuilding has been restored with refinement in the spirit of the time and furnished with antique furniture to accommodate holidaymakers. Authenticity and refinement will be offered in this large living room where we have kept the bread oven and a second large fireplace open. An entrance on a stairwell will lead you to a kitchen where you will find all the comforts of the 21st century by passing independent toilets. The staircase leads to 2 bedrooms, the first equipped with a double bed and the second with two single beds, each equipped with a private bathroom with a shower, sink and a toilet.
On the outdoor gravelled terrace, the Josephine lounge, welcomes you for your meals in the shade of an arbor facing a garden, at the end of which is the parking.
Located in the center of a historical area, less than 20km you will find the castles of Chinon (22Km), Rigny-Ussé (11Km), Azay-Le-Rideau (4Km), Islette (9Km), Villandry (15Km) and Langeais (13,5Km), excluding vineyards, forests, rivers with their promises of beautiful walks. We are near the "Loire by bike" and "Indre by bike", the GR3 is 500m.

Lovely

Such a comfortable ,interesting and well equipped house.We so enjoyed the large garden as well- the extensive lawn with lots of plants and trees- particularly the figs with their abundant fruit! Samira's apricot jam was the best ever! And thank you for the wine too!

Lovely stay in Loire valley

Beautiful, spacious limestone cottage with oak beams -very well equipped and lovingly appointed. There's lots of private outdoor space for relaxing and ample parking. Samira and Bertrand are generous, kind and knowledgable people who made us feel at home right from the start. The cottage is close to Azay le Rideau, lots of the wonderful chateaux in the Loire valley and bike paths. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation.

Lovely stay in a great gite

This gite is everything you can look for : very charming lay-out, beautiful decoration and atmosphere, amazing garden incl. cherry tree and a sweet cat! The owners Samira and Bertrand are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the region, our stay is one of the most memorable we've had in France so far! ps : do not forget to try their home-made rosé! and peach marmelade ;)

Que des compliments à faire sur ce gîte et ses propriétaires ! Ma soeur et moi nous sommes félicité de l'avoir choisi: bon emplacement, calme, relations très conviviales avec les propriétaires, confort et propreté. Et une déco originale partout qui donne une impression d'être chez soi. Le joli jardin privatif (et ses figuiers!) est vraiment agréable. Un véritable havre de paix! Une seule petite chose un peu surprenante au début: l'atmosphère sombre des pièces due à l'histoire et à l'authenticité des lieux, et au temps automnal que nous avons eu...Nous recommandons sincèrement cet endroit!

Un petit coin parfait pour se ressourcer

nous avons passé une très belle semaine avec des hôtes très accueillants, nous prodiguant des conseils sur les visites de châteaux, nous expliquant les différents vins de la région.Le logement est très confortable et très chaleureux. Accueil chaleureux , gite très agréable et bien placé.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le gîte très confortable a conservé son caractère de demeure ancienne et vaut également par sa décoration intérieure. Nous avons passé plusieurs jours au calme avec un beau jardin où nous avons pris nos repas. Le village est très proche en voiture d'Azay le Rideau. Une mention particulière pour le chaleureux accueil de nos hôtes qui avec érudition et passion nous ont conté l'histoire de leur demeure, du village de Cheillé et des traditions viticoles de la région. Nous avons passé des moments dont nous nous souviendrons.

Gîte charmant dans un hameau tranquille

Joli petit gîte aux atours rustiques avec une terrasse ombragée pour déjeuner et un grand jardin pour jouer au croquet. Décoration conforme aux photos. Pas très adapté - les chambres - en cas de fortes chaleurs mais salon frais. Voie cyclable sécurisée - quoique pas à 100% - pour rejoindre Azay-le-Rideau. Village très tranquille, accueil détendu.

Gîte calme et charmant.

Gîte ravissant, plein de charme, il ne manque rien, très propre. Beaucoup d authenticité et de goût dans la décoration. L extérieur est spacieux, et vraiment très agréable dans un hameau très calme, et néanmoins au centre de belles expéditions en Touraine, endroit idéal pour visites des châteaux. Les hôtes nous ont gâtés de petites attentions. Un vrai moment d échanges et de plaisir.
