Hints and tips

Wanganui Airport (WAG) is less than three miles from the center of the city, which makes it easy to reach your final destination after you fly to Wanganui. During summer, the temperature sits around 50 degrees Fahrenheit, whereas in winter it is slightly higher at around 65 degrees. There are a number of festivals that occur throughout the year, such as the Festival of Cultures and the Glass Festival.
