It’s simply beautiful, great service. I would definitely go back. Great restaurants. Also for those who want to know, you can have day guest to visit the pools and restaurants but not your room. Five star hotel

Loved the rustic and natural vibe of the property.

The very few staff working did their best. The food availability is extremely limited and so are the open bars.

The hotel and the beach location are quite nice, the employees at the restaurants and the bars are very dedicated and friendly and the drinks at the bars are quite good. There are three theme restaurants, we tried a variety of dishes but based on the quality of the food and service, I would only recommend the Fusion restaurant at the the lobby. There is plenty of food options at the buffet, although most of the dishes are average....pizza quality is very good. However, per comparison to similar resorts in DR the night entertainment offering is quite limited, especially at night. The entertainment team does their best, but it is very noticeable that they operate with very limited resources to be able to provide watch-worthy night entertainment for guests. That is quite important as there are not other sources for nightlife or entertainment for miles around the hotel. Even a the night club, musical rhythms are mainly local not catering to their diverse international customer base.

Normally with a Viva Wyndham you’re getting a C property. They are usually older with very little upgrades (basically putting lipstick on a pig). But this one was a bit better. While their updates are really nothing spectacular, the place was clean and in good condition. I was pleasantly surprised at what we got at this location. This place is a solid B (which is fantastic for a Viva Wyndham). The staff is the big difference maker. They are awesome!!!! They are so friendly and accommodating. They also do not pressure you into any types of sales pitches (time shares, vacation clubs, etc.) nor are they forceful on trying to sell you activities. The activities are fun for the kids and the entertainment staff was great. The theater was small and honestly a bit sad for a theater area, but…. They put on some great shows from the Michael Jackson show to other types of entertainment. The staff really puts their all into it, so much so that the theater was packed every night. The staff really makes this place great.
