Cheap round-trip flights to Izumo

Fly to Izumo

Located on the Sea of Japan, Izumo is a city known for its relics, shrines and monuments, including the Izumo Hinomisaki Lighthouse and the Susa Shrine. The Shimane Prefecture at Izumo Airport (IZO) lies on the southwestern shore of Lake Shinji. From the airport, you can explore the nearby Inasa Beach or one of Izumo's resorts, such as Yumototatenui Kappo Onsen Yurari.

The spiritual shrines that dot Izumo draw visitors, with Izumotaisha just a 30 minute drive from the airport - being one of the most popular. Izumotaisha is world-renowned for its architecture and tranquil atmosphere and it s so old that no recorded date of its establishment or conception exists. More modern locations, such as the Former Taisha Station and the Shimane Museum of Ancient Izumo, provide information about the history and culture of this well-established Japanese city.
