Easy take off and landing
The hardest thing was that we could only bring one carry item to put under the seat and no overhead usage.
My United flight before this was way late arriving because of weather, and the connecting flight was held for me! Great customer service!
Extremely nice staff and flight attendants. That makes s big difference when you get older and traveling is more difficult!
Woman who checked me in was very nice and very friendly. TSA woman through security was crabby.
Did not like we had to pay for the Checked luggage.
All flights on time!
Beautiful red rock mesas await you when you travel to Grand Junction, Colorado. This small town holds plenty to see and do, with lots of historical and geographical sites. There are also plenty of wineries, cultural attractions and shopping areas to keep you busy. Low-cost flights to Grand Junction are available through Orbitz.com.
The main airport is the Grand Junction Regional Airport, located almost 4 miles northeast of the city. With five different carriers operating, this two-gate airport is an easy way to get in and out of Grand Valley. Taxis and rental cars are the easiest modes of transportation from the airport into the city. Since there is so much to see and do just outside the city, renting a car is a great way to get around during your stay.
Historic museums and farms are available for visitors to learn more about the area's history, including Dinosaur Digs and the Museum of Western Colorado. Wine tours are also available, with many wineries located in the nearby towns of Palisade and Orchard Mesa. If you are looking for outdoor entertainment, be sure to visit the Colorado National Monument for hiking trails or Dominguez Canyon for horseback riding.
Spring and autumn are the best times to visit Grand Junction, when temperatures average around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Summer can be hot, with temperatures reaching up to 100 degrees, while winter temperatures are cold, with lows around 16 degrees. Since the Grand Valley tourism is usually closed in the winter, this season will not provide as much in the way of entertainment as the other seasons.
This unique town has been branded with Chief Ouray's Curse, meaning that once you visit you are destined to return multiple times. Orbitz.com can ensure that your flights to Grand Junction are part of a wonderful vacation full of visual and entertaining memories.
