The resort is relatively new and its cleanliness shows that, but the staff was ill equipped to deal with guest expectations at an all-inclusive resort (that was not cheap)! Restaurants only open certain hours, same with bars, closing up at 11 each night… and running out of ice by the pool is never acceptable. The food at Haven Grill was superb. Olympus is a mediterranean restaurant that didn’t have feta cheese. ?? Vespa as the Italian restaurant had great pizza, but the pasta dishes were really lacking - my polenta was mush and tge meatballs were too spicey to eat. My experience at Hunter’s Steakhouse was very good as I ordered the NY strip… but everyone at my table that ordered the ribeye were grossly disappointed! We ended the week paying for dinner at Pescari and the food was delicious… but the service was slow as molasses. Our reservations were at 8 and it was after 9 before any food ever made it to our table. It was 10 before we could order dessert and then we were rushed out for closing time. Overall, the trip away from home was very restful and the views and beach/pool combo were perfect. I think the bartenders and waiters could benefit from some higher end training. Good luck to you! Oh … one last thing… as a Marriott property, and I am a long-time Bonvoy member… it was pretty disappointing that I couldn’t get points for this nearly $6k trip!!

I had such high expectations for this stay.
The Pros:
When we first arrived, the woman that checked us in was so nice. The room was nice and clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The view was beautiful and we loved the mini pool.
The Cons:
It’s “all inclusive” but you have to go during the breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. The service for the meals was really hit or miss, being mostly a miss. A few times the servers literally forgot about us. It took so long to order and get our food for dinner, we would not have gone if we weren’t starving. And even with all the waiting the food was still cold and not very good. I had the burger the first night and it was just burnt. Not chard but burnt. The fries were cold. The next night, I said I wouldn’t make the same mistake and got the fish. It had no seasoning and it was cold and our server seemed so annoyed, like she was being forced to work there.
I get AI resorts don’t normally have the best food and I wasn’t expecting a bunch, but this food and service were so disappointing and the worst part of this trip. We left saying we’d never be back but looking back I think we would return, just with a new set of expectations. The room was great with amazing views. It doesn’t seem impossible to get a better menu and staff that’s more attentive.

This place is wonderful if you’re looking for a little oasis and calm experience. I’m 32 and went on my honeymoon and had a blast. It has limited food options, but the food is pretty good. we got a pool in our cottage which is a must based on the limited options. The views are amazing. If you’re looking for relaxation and time with your person, this place is simply wonderful! Definitely do one of the floating meals as well!

Spectacular views! Somewhat outdated hotel. Friendly and accommodating staff. Food is over priced and and does not match the quality. Bed was not comfortable, hard with springs, need pillow top for comfort. Service wasn’t too slow as I read in other reviews. I would return

Beautiful views. I like the indoor/outudoor living of the cottages. We traveled in January I am not sure how much I would enjoy the indoor/outdoor living if we came in summer. It may be too hot for mr to shower outside.
Cottages were very clean. They leave you with bug spray, disinfected spray, little touches we have not experienced before.
Food was excellent! Everything we ate was delicious.
There are water coolers and ice all around the resort and they provide stainless steel water bottles - also a nice touch.
The resort is literally embedded into a hillside - be prepared to walk steep hills, and a lot of steps. This resort is not for someone who cannot ger around easily.
