In the heart of a small residential hamlet nestled on the edge of fields & vineyards, in the heart of the Mâconnais peri-urban countryside, at the foot of the Mâconnais-Beaujolais mountains extending the neighboring sumptuous landscaped jewel of the Roche de Solutré (labeled "Grand Site de France ") & the splendid vineyard of Val Lamartinien nearby. Ideal compromise between town & countryside, in the heart of a bucolic hilly country & wine-growing setting, a stone's throw from the center of the charming, typical & commercial village of Charnay-les Mâcon with its many faces, both urban & rural, with its own AOC/AOP ("Mâcon Charnay-les-Mâcon"), a rich heritage (Romanesque church from the 10th century, numerous castles, ice house from the 19th century, old restored oil mill, etc.) as well as all the amenities.
