We had a great stay! This property is at the end of a street, super quiet and peaceful. Ideal for a relaxing time and with amazing views. Property had great amenities and we even enjoyed the fireplace!. Fully stocked and nothjng else was needed except groceries. Accesible to Boone, Charlotte and other cool towns. I will definitively recommend this place if you want to explore what NC has to offer. Thank you Jamie for letting us enjoy your house!.

The host provided a lots of essentials items for the forgetting visitors! I wanted to kayak but only the kid size was available! Lots of walking required going up and down the rocky path to access amenities! Over all a great choice!

Host was very accommodating & responsive. The cottage was very clean & VERY well stocked! Beautiful, peaceful setting for a perfect getaway! It was a little chilly during our stay, so we didn’t use any of the water toys provided but did enjoy having our morning coffee out on the dock and watching the sunrise over Lake Norman! HIGHLY recommend this cottage!!

Everything about the property was so relaxing and cozy. Great use of spaces, lots of thoughtful extras, and had multiple areas (inside and out) for spending time together.

Great location for us attending a wedding in Statesville. Beautiful setting, enjoyed the dock and kayaks. Jamie quickly answered our questions quickly. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Only thing better would have been able to stay longer.

Great Host!!!

We had a great stay here! The host really has the place well equipped. Clean, great location, peaceful dock that you can swim off of. The kayaks and paddle board were fun. (But be aware that they have a weight limit of around 225 lb). Lots to do in the area. Great communication with the host

We had a multi generational weekend get together. Jamie was a great host and we had everything we needed. The kitchen is well appointed.The house was cozy and comfortable. We hope to return and take more advantage of the lake amenities when the weather is warmer.

Amazing stay!

We stayed in this cabin for my sister’s bachelorette weekend. Jamie was so accommodating leaving us snacks and the place had everything we needed for cooking. The view and location of the cabin was perfect and complete with a hammock overlooking the lake and a dock with chairs where we were able to sit and talk perfect for a weekend stay!

Statesville Balloon Festival

My family came into town for the Statesville Hot Air Balloon Festival. We had a great weekend staying on Lake Norman in this quaint home. We cherished the quiet and seclusion while still being close to town. We used the kayaks and fished off the dock. Clean and comfortable! Jamie was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Only wish it could’ve lasted longer.

Cute and Cozy

Lovely home with a cozy feel. This is a great home for someone with limited mobility, in that you can walk right into the house with no steps and it is one level. There is a large shower with a small step and a handheld shower head. The toilets are low and the kitchen is long and narrow but that does not take away from the charm and ease of the house. Even for someone with limited mobility there is a great view of the water and the sunroom is a great place to soak up the outside. The fire pit and dock and well maintained and provide a great opportunity to be outside. The fire pit is well shaded and provides great seating. The dock is well built and has stairs leading into the water. The stairs leading to the dock are a lot but a great way to get your exercise in for the day. My family thoroughly enjoyed this home and hope to stay again.

Great stay

The house was very clean and comfortable. It was exactly as shown in the listing. Jamie was very responsive and attentive to any questions. The boat lift wasn’t very user friendly, but we were still able to use it. Overall an excellent weekend with family!
