Very nice cabin with lots of space and fully stocked kitchen. The location is fabulous with privacy and great view of a branch of Lake Norman. The hosts are ones you hope to have when renting a vacation stay - attentive and responsive, but not intrusive. We loved the kayaks and having s’mores at the fire pit. Hardly any bugs or mosquitoes this time of year.

We enjoyed our stay at Top Water Perch. The property was well equipped and extremely beautiful! Since we were attending a wedding in Statesville and had two small children in our party, the property served the purpose of a quiet oasis for our family and was conveniently located to the wedding venue. We just wish we had more time there! Thank you, Jaime, for the kind note left as well as the snack basket. Those little details made the house very welcoming! Plus, our littles loved the snacks!! Thanks again for everything! We truly appreciated the visit.

Took my nieces and nephew with a few friends to play for spring break. Everything was perfect with all the personal touches in home. We fished, swam and used all the kayaks and parked board. We had a great stay. The property is as described in the listing. The house was clean, well maintained, and properly stocked with all amenities. The location is tucked back into a very quiet cove. We kept our boat on the dock for 17 days without any issues. The water is deep even though the lake was low. Our host always communicated promptly if we had any questions, usually within minutes. The only complaint I have is that we didn’t get to stay longer. I highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay! This property is at the end of a street, super quiet and peaceful. Ideal for a relaxing time and with amazing views. Property had great amenities and we even enjoyed the fireplace!. Fully stocked and nothjng else was needed except groceries. Accesible to Boone, Charlotte and other cool towns. I will definitively recommend this place if you want to explore what NC has to offer. Thank you Jamie for letting us enjoy your house!.

The host provided a lots of essentials items for the forgetting visitors! I wanted to kayak but only the kid size was available! Lots of walking required going up and down the rocky path to access amenities! Over all a great choice!

Host was very accommodating & responsive. The cottage was very clean & VERY well stocked! Beautiful, peaceful setting for a perfect getaway! It was a little chilly during our stay, so we didn’t use any of the water toys provided but did enjoy having our morning coffee out on the dock and watching the sunrise over Lake Norman! HIGHLY recommend this cottage!!

Great location for us attending a wedding in Statesville. Beautiful setting, enjoyed the dock and kayaks. Jamie quickly answered our questions quickly. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Only thing better would have been able to stay longer.

Great Host!!!

We had a great stay here! The host really has the place well equipped. Clean, great location, peaceful dock that you can swim off of. The kayaks and paddle board were fun. (But be aware that they have a weight limit of around 225 lb). Lots to do in the area. Great communication with the host
